Giving MP-ASI early will result in a faster decline in breast milk production, so that the baby will receive a few protective factors that can cause the baby to often get sick. Babies who get MP-ASI before the age of 6 months are more likely to have diarrhea. Diarrhea is one of the causes of child mortality and morbidity in the world. Diarrhea is the second leading cause of death in children under 5 years, around 760,000 children die each year due to diarrhea. This study was conducted to examine the relationship between early complementary feeding and the incidence of diarrhea in infants 0-6 months in Alue Iet Village, Peusangan District, Siblah Krueng, Bireuen Regency. The design of this study is correlation analytic with a retrospective approach. This research was conducted from 7 to 15 July 2022. The population in this study were all mothers who had babies aged 0-6 months in Alue Iet Village, Peusangan Siblah Krueng District, Bireuen Regency as many as 30 people. Sampling technique with total sampling technique obtained by making home visits as many as 30 respondents. The results of the study using the Chi-square test with a 95% confidence level (α = 0.05) showed the p value (0.019) < (0.05) meaning Ha was accepted and Ho was rejected. Thus, there was a relationship between the provision of complementary feeding. with the incidence of diarrhea in infants. Respondents are expected to no longer give MP-ASI early to babies before the age of 6 months because it can interfere with the baby's digestive system which is at risk of diarrhea
