The type of research is analytic observational with a cross sectional study design. This research was conducted on pregnant women who had a pregnancy checkup during 2022 as many as 86 pregnant women with a sample of 69 pregnant women. Samples were taken by systematic random sampling technic. The results showed that there was no relationship between knowledge (p 0.922) and the role of the husband (p 0.071), while attitudes (p 0.005) and the role of health workers (p 0.000) had a significant relationship with preventing HIV transmission from mother to baby.
