Injectable contraceptives are hormonal contraceptives that can affect the menstrual cycle. This is in accordance with the theory found by Siswosudarno, which states that injectable contraceptives have more complaints of menstrual disorders compared to those using other contraceptives. Long use of injectable contraception can cause menstrual disorders. This study aims to find the relationship between the independent variable and the dependent variable, namely the duration of use of cyclofem injection contraception and menstrual disorders. The type of research used is Analytical with a Cross Sectional design which uses one group pre-test and post-test. The population in this study were all mothers receiving cyclofem injection contraception at the Norma Ginting Clinic. The sample in this study was 30 respondents using accidental sampling technique. The analysis used Chi squere test. The results of the study were 21 people who experienced menstrual disorders (70%) and those who did not experience menstrual disorders (30%). Chi squere test results show p = 0.000 < α = 0.05, where Ha is accepted, meaning that there is a long-standing relationship between the use of cyclofem injection contraception and menstrual disorders in family planning acceptors at Norma Ginting in 2023. It is hoped that mothers who accept cyclofem injection KB after using cyclofem injection contraception so that mothers always monitor if there are changes and disturbances that might occur so that if there are complaints they can be resolved immediately.
