Status Kebersihan Gigi Pada Pasien Skizofrenia di Rumah Sakit Jiwa Aceh Tahun 2023

Kecenderungan penderita skizofrenia akan mengakibatkan ketidakmampuan untuk merawat kebersihan gigi dan mulutnya. Berdasarkan data Poli Gigi Rumah Sakit Jiwa Aceh tahun 2022, masalah kesehatan gigi dan mulut pasien skizofrenia tertinggi yaitu karies gigi menggambarkan kurangnya tingkat kebersihan gigi dan mulut pada pasien skizofrenia. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Rumah Sakit Jiwa Aceh pada 30 dan 31 Januari 2023. Populasi dari penelitian ini adalah seluruh pasien skizofrenia tipe tenang di Rumah Sakit Jiwa Aceh yang berjumlah 150 Pasien. Teknik pengambilan sampel penelitian ini menggunakan Teknik Proporsional Random Sampling sehingga didapatkan 60 responden penelitian dengan kriteria inklusi pasien bisa diajak berinteraksi sosial .Rata-rata skor indeks debris berada pada 2,37 dengan kriteria yang paling banyak juga berada pada kriteria buruk yaitu 49 orang. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan pembahasan dapat disimpulkan bahwa status kebersihan gigi pada pasien skizofrenia tipe tenang di Rumah Sakit Jiwa Aceh Pada Tahun 2023 adalah berada pada kriteria buruk 81,16%.

The tendency of people with schizophrenia will result in an inability to care for dental and oral hygiene. Based on data from the Dental Polyclinic at the Aceh Mental Hospital in 2022, the highest dental and oral health problems in schizophrenic patients, namely dental caries, illustrate the low level of dental and oral hygiene in schizophrenic patients. The study was conducted at the Aceh Psychiatric Hospital on January 30 and 31 2023. The population of this study were all calm type schizophrenia patients at the Aceh Mental Hospital, totaling 150 patients. The sampling technique for this study used the Proportional Random Sampling Technique so that 60 research respondents with inclusive criteria patients could be invited to social interaction. The average debris index score was 2.37 with the most criteria being bad, namely 49 people. Based on the results of the research and discussion, it can be interpreted that the status of dental hygiene in schizophrenia patients with a calm type at the Aceh Mental Hospital in 2023 is in the bad criteria of 81.16%.

II. PERMISSION

III. EDITORIAL REVIEW AND REVISION
All papers will be critically read by at least two anonymous reviewers, selected for their competence in the subject area of the paper. Acceptance of the paper will depend upon its scientific merit and suitability for the journal. A paper may be accepted in its original form or subject to revision.
The reviewers' (and editor's) suggestions will be conveyed to the author, who will then have an opportunity to revise the paper. A manuscript returned to an author for revision can be held for a maximum of eight weeks.
The accepted paper will be edited by native English speakers. The cost of language editing service is currently free.
IV. PROOFS
Galley proofs (PDF format) for an accepted article will be sent by e-mail to the corresponding author for copyediting corrections. The core content of an article cannot be changed at this time. It is the author's responsibility to check the entire manuscript, including tables, figure legends, and cited reference numbers, not just the items queried. The proofs should be corrected and mailed to the editorial office within 48 hours of receipt in order to expedite publication. Only one set of corrections will be accepted. In other words, it is important to ensure that all of your corrections are sent to us in one communication.
V. Â REPRINTS
Five free reprint copies of the published article will be shipped to the corresponding authors in Indonesia only, approximately two weeks after the issue is printed. Authors, including overseas authors, who wish to purchase reprints, are required to complete the Reprint Order Form, which will be sent with the galley proofs to corresponding authors. This form must be returned together with the corrected galley proofs.
