Hubungan Sanitasi Dasar Dengan Kejadian Penyakit Diare Pada Balita Di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Seunuddon Kabupaten Aceh Utara Tahun 2023

Sanitasi dasar merupakan praktek untuk menjaga kebersihan dan kesehatan lingkungan di sekitar kita dari penyebaran penyakit salah satunya adalah penyakit diare. Balita merupakan kelompok umur yang rawan gizi dan rawan penyakit, utamanya penyakit diare. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui hubungan sanitasi dasar dengan kejadian penyakit diare pada balita di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Seunuddon Kabupaten Aceh Utara tahun 2023. Desain penelitian ini adalah case control. Populasi dalam penelitian ini semua balita diare di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Seunuddon sebanyak 87 balita, dengan sampel sebanyak 36 balita diare dan 36 balita yang tidak diare. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dari tanggal 11-20 Februari 2023. Analisis data menggunakan uji Chi-Square. Hasil penelitian secara univariat menunjukan bahwa balita diare (50%), sarana air bersih yang memenuhi syarat (47.2%), jamban sehat yang memenuhi syarat (47.2%), sarana pembuangan air limbah yang memenuhi syarat (48.6%), sarana pembuangan sampah yang memenuhi syarat (51.4%) dan personal hygiene baik (45.8%0. Hasil analisa bivariat menunjukkan bahwa ada hubungan antara sarana air bersih (p = 0,005), jamban sehat (p = 0,018), sarana pembuangan air limbah (p = 0,034), sarana pembuangan sampah (p =0,009), dan personal hygiene (p = 0,002) dengan kejadian diare pada balita di Puskesmas Seunuddon tahun 2023. Kesimpulan dalam penelitian bahwa air bersih, sarana pembuangan sampah, jamban, personal hygiene, dan SPAL menjadi faktor yang mempengaruhi diare pada balita di Puskesmas Seunuddon tahun 2023. Diharapkan petugas kesehatan dapat meningkatkan upaya promosi kesehatan, penyuluhan dan pembagian brosur kepada responden mengenai penyebab diare serta cara menangani agar ibu balita dapat memahami cara pencegahan dan penanganan diare balita.

Basic sanitation is a practice to maintain the cleanliness and health of the environment around us from the spread of disease, one of which is diarrhea. Toddlers are an age group that is vulnerable to nutrition and is prone to disease, especially diarrhea. The aim of the research is to determine the relationship between basic sanitation and the incidence of diarrheal disease in toddlers in the Seunuddon Community Health Center working area, North Aceh Regency in 2023. The design of this research is case control. The population in this study in toddlers inÂ
the Seunuddon Community Health Center working area is 87 toddlers with diarrhea. The sampel were 36 toddlers with diarrhea and 36 toddlers without diarrhea. Data collection was carried out from 11-20 February 2023. Data analysis used the Chi-Square test. Univariate research results show that 50% of toddlers have diarrhea, 47.2% have clean water facilities, 47.2% have healthy latrines, 48.6% wastewater disposal facilities, 51.4% waste disposal facilities, and personal hygiene good 45.8%. The results of bivariate analysis show that there are relationships between clean water facilities (p = 0.005), healthy latrines (p = 0.018), waste water disposal facilities (p = 0.034), waste disposal facilities (p = 0.009), and personal hygiene (p = 0.002) with the incidence of diarrhea in toddlers at the Seunuddon Community Health Center in 2023. The conclusion of the research that clean water, waste disposal facilities, latrines, personal hygiene, and SPAL are factors that influence diarrhea in toddlers at the Seunuddon Community Health Center in 2023. It is hoped that health workers can increase health promotion efforts, education and distribution brochures to respondents regarding causes and methods dealing with diarrhea so that mothers of toddlers can understand how to prevent and treat diarrhea in toddler.

IV. PROOFS
Galley proofs (PDF format) for an accepted article will be sent by e-mail to the corresponding author for copyediting corrections. The core content of an article cannot be changed at this time. V. Â REPRINTS
Five free reprint copies of the published article will be shipped to the corresponding authors in Indonesia only, approximately two weeks after the issue is printed. Authors, including overseas authors, who wish to purchase reprints, are required to complete the Reprint Order Form, which will be sent with the galley proofs to corresponding authors. This form must be returned together with the corrected galley proofs.
