The preschool period, also called the golden age, is the next generation of the nation that needs special attention as a period of forming the personality foundation that will determine the next life experience. Problems faced by early childhood are usually related to disturbances in the process of growth and development. So if the disorder occurs and is not immediately addressed, it is feared that it will continue in the next phase of development at school and can hinder the process of optimal child development. The purpose of this study was to analyze the growth and development of early childhood in Ash Shafiyah Kindergarten, Bireuen Regency. This research is a type of quantitative research that uses a descriptive correlative method using a cross sectional study design. The research sample was children aged 4-6 years in Ash Shafiyah Kindergarten, with a total sampling technique of 40 children. The tools used in this study were the KPSP questionnaire, weight scales, and height measurement. The method of data analysis was carried out with the chi-square statistical test. The results showed that there was a significant relationship between birth order and nutritional status with child development in Ash Shafiyah Kindergarten, Bireuen Regency (p value = 0.039; p value = 0.002). So with the results of this study, the authors hope that kindergarten education managers continue to improve the quality of education for children in accordance with the developmental needs of children, and routinely stimulate and detect early growth and development of preschool-aged children to find out and follow up if there are any children with growth and development problems.
