Efektivitas Penyuluhan Kesehatan Tentang Polycystic Ovary Sindrome (PCOS) Terhadap Pengetahuan Remaja Putri di SMA Negeri 4 Kota Banda Aceh

Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) yang menyerang wanita usia subur pada usia remaja dapat menyebabkan gangguan menstruasi, kelebihan berat badan, Terdapat jerawat, Hirsutism, kerontokan rambut dan Penggelapan kulit di area leher. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian quasi eksperimen, dengan menggunakan one group pretest posttest design, penelitian dilaksanakan pada tanggal 31 Mei s/d 10 Juni 2022, populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah remaja putri yang bersekolah di SMA Negeri 4 Kota Banda Aceh. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik menggunakan proportional random sampling yaitu 76 orang. Data diolah dan dianalisa menggunakan uji T-dependent sampel paired. Sebelum dilakukan intervensi penyuluhan kesehatan tentang Polycystic Ovary Sindrome (PCOS) di dapatkan bahwa sebagian besar pengetahuan responden berada pada kategori kurang sebanyak 37 responden (48,7%), sesudah dilakukan intervensi penyuluhan kesehatan tentang Polycystic Ovary Sindrome (PCOS), sebagian besar pengetahuan responden berada pada kategori kurang sebanyak 32 responden (42,1%) dan pada kategori baik sebanyak 26 responden (34,2%), Terdapat efektivitas penyuluhan kesehatan tentang Polycystic Ovary Sindrome (PCOS) terhadap pengetahuan remaja putri dengan nilai p-value=0,000. Terdapat efektivitas penyuluhan kesehatan tentang Polycystic Ovary Sindrome (PCOS) terhadap pengetahuan remaja putri Diharapkan penelitian ini dapat memberikan informasi bagi guru dan petugas UKS dalam melakukan sosialisasi bagi siswa/remaja tentang dampak negatif yang ditimbulkan karena Polycystic Ovary Sindrome (PCOS) di lingkungan sekolah.

Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) which affects women of childbearing age in their teens can cause menstrual disorders, overweight, acne, hirsutism, hair loss and darkening of the skin in the neck area. This research is a quasi-experimental study, using a one group pretest posttest design, the research was conducted from May 31 to June 10, 2022, the population in this study were female teenagers who attended Senior High School 4 city of Banda Aceh. The sampling technique used a technique using proportional random sampling, namely 76 people. Data were processed and analyzed using a paired sample T-dependent test. Before carrying out the health counseling intervention about Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) it was found that most of the respondents' knowledge was in the less category as many as 37 respondents (48.7%), after carrying out health education interventions about Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS), most of the respondents' knowledge 32 respondents (42.1%) were in the poor category and 26 respondents (34.2%) were in the good category. There was the effectiveness of health counseling about Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) on the knowledge of young women with a p-value = 0.000. There is the effectiveness of health counseling about Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) on the knowledge of young women. It is hoped that this research can provide information for teachers and UKS officers in conducting outreach to students/adolescents about the negative impacts caused by Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) in the school environment.

II. PERMISSION
The author is responsible for acquiring the permission(s) to reproduce any copyrighted figures, tables, data, or text that are being used in the submitted paper. III. EDITORIAL REVIEW AND REVISION
All papers will be critically read by at least two anonymous reviewers, selected for their competence in the subject area of the paper. Acceptance of the paper will depend upon its scientific merit and suitability for the journal. A paper may be accepted in its original form or subject to revision.
The reviewers' (and editor's) suggestions will be conveyed to the author, who will then have an opportunity to revise the paper. A manuscript returned to an author for revision can be held for a maximum of eight weeks.
The accepted paper will be edited by native English speakers. The cost of language editing service is currently free.
IV. PROOFS
Galley proofs (PDF format) for an accepted article will be sent by e-mail to the corresponding author for copyediting corrections. The core content of an article cannot be changed at this time. It is the author's responsibility to check the entire manuscript, including tables, figure legends, and cited reference numbers, not just the items queried. The proofs should be corrected and mailed to the editorial office within 48 hours of receipt in order to expedite publication. Only one set of corrections will be accepted. In other words, it is important to ensure that all of your corrections are sent to us in one communication.
V. Â REPRINTS
Five free reprint copies of the published article will be shipped to the corresponding authors in Indonesia only, approximately two weeks after the issue is printed. Authors, including overseas authors, who wish to purchase reprints, are required to complete the Reprint Order Form, which will be sent with the galley proofs to corresponding authors. This form must be returned together with the corrected galley proofs.
