Pengaruh Kompres Hangat & Akupresur terhadap Penurunan Nyeri Kepala pada Lansia Hipertensi di Desa Lhok Bengkuang Timur Kecamatan Tapaktuan Kabupaten Aceh Selatan

Meningkatkan prevalensi hipertensi setiap tahunnya disebabkan oleh gaya hidup masyarakat dan kurangnya kesadaran masyarakat dalam melakukan pengendalian hipertensi baik dengan farmakologi dan non farmakologi seperti terapi kompres hangat dan akupresur untuk menurunkan nyeri pada lansia hipertensi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui perbedaan kompres hangat dan akupresur terhadap penurunan nyeri kepala. Penelitian ini termasuk jenis penelitian quasi experiment dengan Two-group pretest posttest design using a double pretest. Populasi dan sampel adalah responden yang memiliki nyeri kepala pada leher dengan riwayat hipertensi dengan pengambilan sampel secara purposive sampling yang berjumlah 20 orang. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Desa Lhok Bengkuang Timur Kecamatan Tapaktuan Kabupaten Aceh Selatan pada tanggal 14-25 Juni 2023. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ada pengaruh pretest dan posttest pada kompres hangat diperoleh nilai p value 0,000 dan pengaruh pada kompres hangat dan akupresur diperoleh nilai p value 0,000 serta adanya perbedaan kompres hangat dan akupresur terhadap penurunan nyeri kepala pada lansia hipertensi dengan hasil analisa statistik p value 0,005 di Desa Lhok Bengkuang Timur Kecamatan Tapaktuan Kabupaten Aceh Selatan. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa adanya perbedaan dari kompres hangat dan akupresur terhadap penurunan nyeri kepala. Diharapkan kepada lansia untuk melakukan terapi kompres hangat dan akupresur dirumah yang berguna untuk menurunkan nyeri kepala pada lansia hipertensi.

Increasing the prevalence of hypertension every year is caused by people's lifestyles and lack of public awareness in controlling hypertension both with pharmacology and nonpharmacology such as warm compresses and acupressure therapy to reduce pain in hypertensive elderly. The purpose of this study was to determine the difference between warm compresses and acupressure in reducing headache. This research is a quasi-experimental type of research with a Two-group pretest posttest design using a double pretest. The population and sample are respondents who have headaches in the neck with a history of hypertension with purposive sampling of 20 people. The research was conducted in Lhok Bengkuang Timur Village, Tapaktuan District, South Aceh Regency on June 14-25 2023. The results of the study were based on statistical analysis of the effect of pretest and posttest on warm compresses, a p value of 0.000 was obtained and the effect of pretest and posttest on warm compresses and acupressure obtained a p value value 0.000 and the difference between warm compresses and acupressure on reducing headache in elderly hypertensives with the results of statistical analysis p value 0.005 in Lhok Bengkuang Timur Village, Tapaktuan District, South Aceh Regency. So it can be concluded that there is a difference between warm compresses and acupressure in reducing headache. It is expected that the elderly can do warm compress therapy and acupressure at home which are useful for reducing headaches in elderly hypertension.

IV. PROOFS

V. Â REPRINTS
Five free reprint copies of the published article will be shipped to the corresponding authors in Indonesia only, approximately two weeks after the issue is printed. Authors, including overseas authors, who wish to purchase reprints, are required to complete the Reprint Order Form, which will be sent with the galley proofs to corresponding authors. This form must be returned together with the corrected galley proofs.
