Hubungan Pengetahuan dan Motivasi Terhadap Pencegahan ISPA pada Balita di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Putri Ayu Kota Jambi

Penyakit ISPA salah satu penyebab kematian bayi yang menempati urutan pertama angka kesakitan pada balita. Dampak dari terganggunya sistem pernapasan ini tidak baik bagi kesehatan balita, karena akan mengganggu sistem tubuh lainnya. Pada tahun 2021 tercatat balita dengan kasus ISPA yang terbanyak adalah di Puskesmas Putri Ayu Kota Jambi yaitu sebanyak 1258 anak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan pengetahuan dan motivasi ibu terhadap pencegahan ISPA pada balita di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Putri Ayu Kota Jambi Tahun 2023. Penelitian merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain cross sectional. Populasi sebanyak 436 orang dan sampel berjumlah 80 orang. Teknik pengambilan sampel dengan cara accidental sampling. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Januari-Februari 2022. Analisa data yang digunakan adalah Analisis Univarit dan Bivariat menggunakan uji chi-square. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar pengetahuan responden terhadap pencegahan ISPA adalah cukup yaitu sebanyak 30 orang (37,5%). Sebagian besar motivasi responden terhadap pencegahan ISPA adalah tinggi yaitu sebanyak 50 orang (62,5%). Sebagian besar perilaku responden terhadap pencegahan ISPA adalah baik yaitu sebanyak 44 orang (55%). Berdasarkan hasil uji statistic didapatkan nilai (p<0,05) artinya ada Ada hubungan yang bermakna antara pengetahuan ibu (p-value 0,020) dan motivasi (p-value 0,005) terhadap pencegahan ISPA pada balita. Untuk itu disarankan agar hendaknya masyarakat selalu kontrol ke layanan kesehatan serta petugas kesehatan lebih meningkatkan penyuluhan tentang pencegahan komplikasi ISPA pada balita

ISPA disease is one of the causes of infant death which ranks first in the morbidity rate for toddlers. The impact of disrupting the respiratory system is not good for toddler health, because it will interfere with other body systems. This study aims to determine the relationship knowledge And motivation Mother to prevention acute respiratory tract infection in toddlers in the Work Area of the Putri Ayu Health Center, Jambi City, 2023. This research is a quantitative study with a cross-sectional design. The population is 436Â
people and the sample is 80 people. The sampling technique is by accidental sampling. This research was conducted in January-February 2022. The data analysis used was Univariate and Bivariate Analysis using the chi-square test. The results showed that most of the respondents' knowledge of acute respiratory tract infection prevention was adequate, namely 30 people (37,5%). Most of the respondents' motivation for preventing acute respiratory tract infection was high, namely as many as 50 people (62,5%) . Most of the respondents' behavior towards acute respiratory tract infection prevention was good, namely as many as 44 people (55%). Based on the statistical test results, the value (p<0,05) means that there is a significant relationship between mother's knowledge (p- value 0,020) and motivation (p-value 0,005) on the prevention of acute respiratory tract infection in toddlers. For this reason, it is suggested that the community should always control health services as well officer health further increase education about the prevention of complications of acute respiratory tract infection in infants.

IV. PROOFS

V. Â REPRINTS
Five free reprint copies of the published article will be shipped to the corresponding authors in Indonesia only, approximately two weeks after the issue is printed. Authors, including overseas authors, who wish to purchase reprints, are required to complete the Reprint Order Form, which will be sent with the galley proofs to corresponding authors. This form must be returned together with the corrected galley proofs.
