Work accindent is an event that is undesirable to occur because it can cause harm, loss and even death and can result in loss of property that occurs while doing work. The risk of work accindents occurs due to hazards and events that result in work accidents but can be avoided with several factors, namely knowledge, use of PPE and the environment. This study aims to determine the incidence of work accidents in fishing workers in Kayu Menang village, Kuala Baru, district. This study used quantitative observational analytic methods with a cross sectional design. The purpose of this study is to ascertain the frequency of work-related accidents among fishermen in Kayu Menang Village, Kuala Baru District. This study employed a cross-sectional design and quantitative observational analytic methodologies. In the community of Kayu Menang, everyone is a fisherman. The study's sample consisted of 30 respondents. To use the research tool, complete the questionnaire. The Chi Saquare Test was used for univariate and bivariate data analysis. According to the study's findings, there is a strong correlation between the probability of work accidents and knowledge factors (Pvalue = 0.013 = 0.05), PPE use (Pvalue = 0.002 = 0.05), and floor lubricant (Pvalue = 0.030 = 0.05). The likelihood of work accidents was shown to be significantly correlated with knowledge, PPE usage, and slick flooring.
