Pengaruh Pemberian Aromaterapi Mawar Terhadap Penurunan Intensitas Nyeri Persalinan di Praktek Mandiri Bidan Jawiriyah Kota Banda Aceh

Aromaterapi mawar dapat menurunkan nyeri persalinan pada ibu bersalin dikarenakan bau harum tumbuhan berpengaruh secara langsung terhadap otak seperti obat analgesik. Aromaterapi bermanfaat untuk memperlancar peredaran darah, menenangkan hati dari stress dan mengatasi nyeri saat persalinan. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian aromaterapi mawar terhadap penurunan intensitas nyeri persalinan di Praktek Mandiri Bidan Jawiriyah S.ST Punge Blang Cut Kecamatan Meuraxa Kota Banda Aceh Tahun 2022. Desain penelitian eksperimen semu (quasi experimen) dengan rancangan penelitian adalah pretest-posttest control group design. Populasi penelitian yaitu 15 ibu bersalin. Jumlah sampel sebanyak 15 responden. Penelitian ini dilakukan tanggal 01 Mei s.d 17 Juni tahun 2022. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata intensitas nyeri persalinan sebelum diberikan aromaterapi mawar yaitu 6,67. Sedangkan nilai rata-rata skala intensitas nyeri persalinan setelah diberikan aromaterapi mawar yaitu 5,80. Hasil uji T Paired memperlihatkan sebesar 3,666 dan nilai P value 0,003 yang artinya ada pengaruh skala nyeri persalinan sebelum dan setelah diberikan aromaterapi mawar pada ibu bersalin di Praktek Mandiri Bidan Jawiriyah S.ST Punge Blang Cut Kecamatan Meuraxa Kota Banda Aceh Tahun 2022. Kesimpulan dalam penelitian ini adalah ada pengaruh diberikan aromaterapi mawar pada ibu bersalin di Praktek Mandiri Bidan Jawiriyah S.ST Punge Blang Cut Kecamatan Meuraxa Kota Banda Aceh Tahun 2022.

Rose aromatherapy can reduce the pain experienced by women during labor because, like analgesic drugs, the fragrant or pleasant smell of the plant has a direct effect on the brain. Aromatherapy is useful for improving blood circulation, calming the heart, avoiding stress and overcoming pain during childbirth. The purpose of the study was to determine the effect of giving rose aromatherapy on reducing the intensity of labor pain in the Private Midwifery Practice of Jawiriyah, S.ST in Punge Blang Cut, Meuraxa Sub-District of Banda Aceh in 2022. The research was conducted with a quasi-experimental method and a pretest-posttest control group design. The research population covered 15 expecting mothers who gave birth at the clinic, and all of them were chosen as the samples or respondents. The research was conducted from May 1 to June 17, 2022. The results showed that the average value of labor pain intensity scale before being given rose aromatherapy was 6.67 while the average value of the labor pain intensity scale after being given rose aromatherapy was 5.80. The result of the paired t-test value showed 3.666 and a p-value of 0.003 which indicated that there was a difference in the labor pain intensity experienced by the women during labor in the clinic before and after being given rose aromatherapy. The conclusion of this study is that there is an effect of being given rose aromatherapy on the intensity of pain experienced by women during labor..

II. PERMISSION

III. EDITORIAL REVIEW AND REVISION
All papers will be critically read by at least two anonymous reviewers, selected for their competence in the subject area of the paper. Acceptance of the paper will depend upon its scientific merit and suitability for the journal. A paper may be accepted in its original form or subject to revision.
The reviewers' (and editor's) suggestions will be conveyed to the author, who will then have an opportunity to revise the paper. A manuscript returned to an author for revision can be held for a maximum of eight weeks.
The accepted paper will be edited by native English speakers. The cost of language editing service is currently free.
IV. PROOFS
Galley proofs (PDF format) for an accepted article will be sent by e-mail to the corresponding author for copyediting corrections. The core content of an article cannot be changed at this time. It is the author's responsibility to check the entire manuscript, including tables, figure legends, and cited reference numbers, not just the items queried. The proofs should be corrected and mailed to the editorial office within 48 hours of receipt in order to expedite publication. Only one set of corrections will be accepted. In other words, it is important to ensure that all of your corrections are sent to us in one communication.
V. Â REPRINTS
Five free reprint copies of the published article will be shipped to the corresponding authors in Indonesia only, approximately two weeks after the issue is printed. Authors, including overseas authors, who wish to purchase reprints, are required to complete the Reprint Order Form, which will be sent with the galley proofs to corresponding authors. This form must be returned together with the corrected galley proofs.
