Pengaruh Pemberian Minuman Kunyit Asam Terhadap Penurunan Dismenore Primer Pada Mahasiswi Program Studi Ilmu Keperawatan Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Abulyatama Aceh Besar

Menstruasi merupakan tanda awal masuknya seorang perempuan dalam masa reproduksi. Dismenore memiliki dampak yang cukup besar bagi remaja putri karena menyebabkan terganggunya aktivitas sehari hari. Maka dari itu terdapat beberapa cara untuk meredakan gejala-gejala dismenore yaitu dengan cara farmakologi dan nonfarmakologi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian minuman kunyit asam terhadap penurunan skala dismenore pada Mahasiswi Program Studi Ilmu Keperawatan Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Abulyatama Aceh. Jenis penelitian ini adalah eksperimental(quasy experimental design). Pengumpulan data dilakukan pada tanggal 1 s/d 30 Maret 2022. Populasi dalam penelitian ini mahasiswi PSIK angkatan tahun 2021 Abulyatama Aceh yang mengalami dismenore primer dengan jumlah populasi sebanyak 15 orang, dengan teknik purposive sampling. Pengumpulan data mengggunakan data primer. Analisis menggunakan wilcoxone test, teknik analisa univariat dan bivariat. Hasil penelitian diperoleh terdapat pengaruh kunyit asam terhadap penurunan dismenore primer dengan dismenore primer dan p value 0,000 (<0,05). Diharapkan kepada responden agar tidak ketergantungan obat dalam mengatasi nyeri dismenore primeryaitu dapat mengonsumsi minuman kunyit asam untuk penurunan nyeri dismenore primer.

Menstruation is an early manifestation of females that activate the reproductive period. As Dysmenorrhea has a considerable impact on young women as it disrupts daily activities. Therefore, some medical practices are formulated to relieve the symptoms of dysmenorrhea - through pharmacological and non-pharmacological methods. This study aims to determine the effect of tamarind drinks to reduce the symptoms of dysmenorrhea in nursing students, at The Faculty of Medicine, Abulyatama University, Aceh. This research was an experimental study under a quasi-experimental design. The data collection was carried out in March from 1st to 30th, of 2022. The population of this study was nursing students at Abulyatama University from the Academic Year of 2021. A purposive sampling technique was applied for this study. Around 15 nursing students of Abulyatama University who experienced primary dysmenorrhea were used as the sample. The primary data was collected and analyzed by adopting the Wilcoxon test, and univariate and bivariate analysis techniques. The results showed that there was a positive effect of consuming turmeric acid drink in reducing primary dysmenorrhea with a p-value of 0.000 (<0.05). From the finding, it is concluded that there is an effect of turmeric acid drinks in reducing primary dysmenorrhea. The result of the study is used as a non-medical resolution as to overcome the primary dysmenorrhea symptoms without consuming more pills to relieve the pain. The turmeric acid drink consumption proves to have the effect to reduce primary dysmenorrhea pain.

II. PERMISSION

III. EDITORIAL REVIEW AND REVISION

The reviewers' (and editor's) suggestions will be conveyed to the author, who will then have an opportunity to revise the paper. A manuscript returned to an author for revision can be held for a maximum of eight weeks.

IV. PROOFS
Galley proofs (PDF format) for an accepted article will be sent by e-mail to the corresponding author for copyediting corrections. The core content of an article cannot be changed at this time. It is the author's responsibility to check the entire manuscript, including tables, figure legends, and cited reference numbers, not just the items queried. The proofs should be corrected and mailed to the editorial office within 48 hours of receipt in order to expedite publication. Only one set of corrections will be accepted. In other words, it is important to ensure that all of your corrections are sent to us in one communication.
V. Â REPRINTS
Five free reprint copies of the published article will be shipped to the corresponding authors in Indonesia only, approximately two weeks after the issue is printed. Authors, including overseas authors, who wish to purchase reprints, are required to complete the Reprint Order Form, which will be sent with the galley proofs to corresponding authors. This form must be returned together with the corrected galley proofs.
