Efektivitas Aromaterapi Peppermint Terhadap Penurunan Hiperemesis Gravidarum Pada Ibu Hamil di Kecamatan Dewantara Kabupaten Aceh Utara

Kehamilan merupakan penyatuan spermatozoa dan ovum yang dilanjutkan dengan tertanamnya hasil konsepsi ke dalam endometrium, Masa kehamilan dimulai dari hasil konsepsi sampai lahirnya janin. Hiperemesis Gravidarum adalah mual dan muntah yang berlebihan pada wanita hamil sampai mengganggu pekerjaan sehari-hari karena keadaan umumnya menjadi buruk, karena terjadi dehidrasi. peppermint mengandung kasiat anti kejang dan penyembuhan yang handal untuk kasus mual, salah cerna, susah membuang gas di perut diare, sembelit, sakit kepala dan pingsan. Aromaterapi memberikan rasa efek bagi penghirupnya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi efektivitas aromaterapi peppermint terhadap penurunan hiperemesis gravidarum pada ibu hamil. Jenis Penelitin yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif atau quantitatif design dengan pendekatan desain quasi eksperimen. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh ibu hamil yang mengalami hiperemisis gravidarum yang datang ke PMB Hj. Syamsiah, S.Tr.Keb Kecamatan Dewantara, Kabupaten Aceh Utara. penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada tanggal 14 s/d 22 Juli tahun 2022 dengan sampel sebanyak 45 responden. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan total sampling, berdasarkan hasil uji wilcoxon  hasil penelitian bahwa ada perbedaan mual sebelum dan sesudah di berikan aromaterapi Peppermint dengan nilai Z -5,995 dan pvalue 0,000 < 0,05, dan muntah dengan nilai Z -6,033 dan pvalue 0,000 < 0,05 yang berarti terdapat perbedaan sebelum dan sesudah di berikan aromaterapi peppermint.

Pregnancy is the union of spermatozoa and ovum which is followed by the implantation of the products of conception into the endometrium. The gestation period starts from the products of conception until the birth of the fetus. Hyperemesis Gravidarum is excessive nausea and vomiting in pregnant women to the point that it interferes with daily work because the condition generally gets worse, due to dehydration. Peppermint contains anti-convulsant and healing properties that are reliable for cases of nausea, indigestion, difficulty passing gas in the stomach, diarrhea, constipation, headaches and fainting. Aromatherapy gives a sense of effect to the inhaler. The purpose of this study was to identify the effectiveness of peppermint aromatherapy in reducing hyperemesis gravidarum in pregnant women. The type of research used in this research is quantitative research or quantitative design with a quasi-experimental design approach. The population in this study were all pregnant women who came to PMB Hj. Syamsiah, S.Tr.Keb, Dewantara District, North Aceh Regency. This research was conducted from 14 to 22 July 2022 with a sample of 45 respondents. The sampling technique used total sampling, based on the results of the Wilcoxon test results that there were differences in nausea before and after being given Peppermint aromatherapy with a Z value of -5.995 and a pvalue of 0.000 <0.05, and vomiting with a Z value of -6.033 and a pvalue of 0.000 <0. 05 which means there is a difference before and after being given peppermint aromatherapy.

III. EDITORIAL REVIEW AND REVISION

The reviewers' (and editor's) suggestions will be conveyed to the author, who will then have an opportunity to revise the paper. A manuscript returned to an author for revision can be held for a maximum of eight weeks.

IV. PROOFS
Galley proofs (PDF format) for an accepted article will be sent by e-mail to the corresponding author for copyediting corrections. The core content of an article cannot be changed at this time. It is the author's responsibility to check the entire manuscript, including tables, figure legends, and cited reference numbers, not just the items queried. The proofs should be corrected and mailed to the editorial office within 48 hours of receipt in order to expedite publication. Only one set of corrections will be accepted. In other words, it is important to ensure that all of your corrections are sent to us in one communication.
V. Â REPRINTS
Five free reprint copies of the published article will be shipped to the corresponding authors in Indonesia only, approximately two weeks after the issue is printed. Authors, including overseas authors, who wish to purchase reprints, are required to complete the Reprint Order Form, which will be sent with the galley proofs to corresponding authors. This form must be returned together with the corrected galley proofs.
