Pengaruh Perilaku Personal Hiegine Terhadap Kejadian Skabies di Rumah Sakit Kesdam Iskandar Muda

Skabies merupakan suatu penyakit kulit yang disebabkan oleh infestasi dan sensitisasi Sarcoptes Scabiesi var. haminis. Prevalensi scabies di dunia masih tergolong cukup tinggi yaitu berkisar 300 juta kasus per tahun. Penyakit scabies endemis di wilayah yang beriklim tropis dan subtropis sperti beberapa negara yaitu Afrika, Amerika Selatan, karibia, Australia Tengah dan Selatan dan negara Asia. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh perilaku personal hiegine terhadap kejadian scabies di Rumah Sakit Kesdam Iskandar Muda. Desain penelitian ini menggunakan case control. Adapun pelaksanaan penelitian dilaksanakan di RS Kesdam Iskandar Muda pada tanggal 19 s/d 20 Juli 2023. Analisa data menggunakan uji chi square test. Hasil Penelitian membuktikan bahwa perilaku personal hiegine mayoritas pada kategori baik sebanyak 31 (62%), pengaruh perilaku personal hiegine terhadap kejadian scabies dengan nilai p= 0.020. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh antara perilaku personal hiegine terhadap kejadian scabies di RS Kesdam Iskandar Muda.

Scabies is a skin disease caused by infestation and sensitization of Sarcoptes Scabiesi var. Haminis. The prevalence of scabies in the world is still quite high, namely around 300 million cases per year. Scabies is endemic in areas with tropical and subtropical climates such as several countries, namely Africa, South America, the Caribbean, Central and South Australia and Asian countries. The aim of this research was to determine the effect of personal hygiene behavior on the incidence of scabies at Kesdam Iskandar Muda Hospital. This research design uses case control. The research was carried out at the Kesdam Iskandar Muda Hospital from 19 to 20 July 2023. Data analysis used the chi square test. The research results prove that the majority of personal hygiene behavior is in the good category with 31 (62%), the influence of personal hygiene behavior on the incidence of scabies with a value of p = 0.020. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that there is an influence between personal hygiene behavior on the incidence of scabies at Kesdam Iskandar Muda Hospital.

I. ORIGINALITY, AUTHORSHIP, AND COPYRIGHT

II. PERMISSION

III. EDITORIAL REVIEW AND REVISION
All papers will be critically read by at least two anonymous reviewers, selected for their competence in the subject area of the paper. Acceptance of the paper will depend upon its scientific merit and suitability for the journal. A paper may be accepted in its original form or subject to revision.
The reviewers' (and editor's) suggestions will be conveyed to the author, who will then have an opportunity to revise the paper. A manuscript returned to an author for revision can be held for a maximum of eight weeks.
The accepted paper will be edited by native English speakers. The cost of language editing service is currently free.
IV. PROOFS
Galley proofs (PDF format) for an accepted article will be sent by e-mail to the corresponding author for copyediting corrections. The core content of an article cannot be changed at this time. It is the author's responsibility to check the entire manuscript, including tables, figure legends, and cited reference numbers, not just the items queried. The proofs should be corrected and mailed to the editorial office within 48 hours of receipt in order to expedite publication. Only one set of corrections will be accepted. In other words, it is important to ensure that all of your corrections are sent to us in one communication.
V. Â REPRINTS
Five free reprint copies of the published article will be shipped to the corresponding authors in Indonesia only, approximately two weeks after the issue is printed. Authors, including overseas authors, who wish to purchase reprints, are required to complete the Reprint Order Form, which will be sent with the galley proofs to corresponding authors. This form must be returned together with the corrected galley proofs.
