Determinan Perilaku Pencegahan Gizi Kurang Pada Balita di Puskesmas Tuntungan Tahun 2023

Kurang gizi adalah terjadi akibat ketidaksesuaian antara asupan dan kebutuhan tubuh akan zat gizi. Berdasarkan survei awal yang dilakukan, masalah kesehatan yang memerlukan perhatian dan penanganan serius, karena berhubungan dengan angka kesakitan dan kematian pada balita, maka perlu dianalisis dengan baik bagaimana perilaku pencegahan kejadian kurang gizi pada balita yang baik, agar bisa dilakukan upaya pecegahan yang tepat. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui determinan perilaku pencegahan gizi kurang pada balita di Puskesmas Tuntungan Tahun 2023. Jenis penelitian adalah kuantitatif dengan desain cross sectional. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah sejumlah 1.529 orang, ibu balita di Puskesmas Tuntungan sejumlah dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 94 responden yang diambil dengan teknik purposive sampling. Analisis data yang digunakan analisis univariat dan bivariat dengan statistik uji chi-square pada taraf kepercayaan 95% (α=0,05). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada hubungan pengetahuan (p=0,000), sikap (p=0,001), pendapatan keluarga (p=0,002), jumlah anggota keluarga (p=0,001) dengan perilaku pencegahan gizi kurang pada balita di Puskesmas Tuntungan Tahun 2023. Kesimpulan penelitian ini bahwa pengetahuan, sikap, pendapatan keluarga dan jumlah anggota keluarga ada hubungan dengan perilaku pencegahan gizi kurang pada balita. Disarankan untuk meningkatkan promosi kesehatan untuk memberikan informasi terhadap masyarakat, terutama ibu dalam pemberian makanan yang bergizi terhadap balitanya.

Malnutrition occurs due to a mismatch between intake and the body's need for nutrients. Based on the initial survey conducted, health problems require serious attention and treatment, because they are related to morbidity and mortality rates in toddlers, so it is necessary to analyze properly how to prevent malnutrition in toddlers, so that appropriate prevention efforts can be made. The aim of this research is to determine the determinants of malnutrition prevention behavior among toddlers at the Tuntungan Community Health Center in 2023. This type of research is quantitative with a cross sectional design. The population in this study was 1.529 people, mothers of toddlers at the Tuntungan Community Health Center were 94 respondents, the sample used was 94 respondents taken using a purposive sampling technique. Data analysis used univariate and bivariate analysis with chi-square test statistics at the 95% confidence level (α=0.05). Based on the research results, it shows that there is a relationship between knowledge (p=0.000<0.05), attitude (p=0.001<0.05), family income (p=0.002<0.05), number of family members (p=0.001<0.05). .05) with behavior to prevent malnutrition among toddlers at the Tuntungan Community Health Center in 2023. The conclusion of this research is that knowledge, attitudes, family income and number of family members are related to the behavior of preventing malnutrition in toddlers to become aware of the importance of paying more attention to toddlers regarding the nutritional intake they receive, because nutrients from food in general are the main source for meet children's needs for optimal growth and development so that they can achieve complete health, namely physical health, mental health and social health.

I. ORIGINALITY, AUTHORSHIP, AND COPYRIGHT

II. PERMISSION
The author is responsible for acquiring the permission(s) to reproduce any copyrighted figures, tables, data, or text that are being used in the submitted paper. Authors should note that text quotations of more than 250 words from a published or copyrighted work will require grant of permission from the original publisher to reprint. The written permission letter(s) must be submitted together with the manuscript.
III. EDITORIAL REVIEW AND REVISION
All papers will be critically read by at least two anonymous reviewers, selected for their competence in the subject area of the paper. Acceptance of the paper will depend upon its scientific merit and suitability for the journal. A paper may be accepted in its original form or subject to revision.
The reviewers' (and editor's) suggestions will be conveyed to the author, who will then have an opportunity to revise the paper. A manuscript returned to an author for revision can be held for a maximum of eight weeks.
The accepted paper will be edited by native English speakers. The cost of language editing service is currently free.
IV. PROOFS
Galley proofs (PDF format) for an accepted article will be sent by e-mail to the corresponding author for copyediting corrections. The core content of an article cannot be changed at this time. It is the author's responsibility to check the entire manuscript, including tables, figure legends, and cited reference numbers, not just the items queried. The proofs should be corrected and mailed to the editorial office within 48 hours of receipt in order to expedite publication. Only one set of corrections will be accepted. In other words, it is important to ensure that all of your corrections are sent to us in one communication.
V. Â REPRINTS
Five free reprint copies of the published article will be shipped to the corresponding authors in Indonesia only, approximately two weeks after the issue is printed. Authors, including overseas authors, who wish to purchase reprints, are required to complete the Reprint Order Form, which will be sent with the galley proofs to corresponding authors. This form must be returned together with the corrected galley proofs.
