FORMULASI DAN EVALUASI SEDIAAN BLUSH ON COMPACT EKSTRAK BUAH NAGA MERAH (Hylocereus polyrhizus)

Latar Belakang : Buah naga merah (Hylocereus polyrhizus) merupakan jenis buah yang kaya akan zat antosianin yang memberikan warna merah dan memiliki berbagai manfaat, salah satunya yaitu sebagai pewarna alami yang dapat menggantikan pewarna sintetik. Buah naga merah mengandung komponen bioaktif lainnya yaitu asam askorbat, betakaroten dan flavonoid yang termasuk golongan senyawa antioksidan untuk menetralisir, mencegah atau memperlambat kerusakan sel akibat radikal bebas yang menyerang sel-sel tubuh. Tujuan Penelitian : Untuk memformulasikan ekstrak buah naga merah dan mengetahui sediaan blush on compact ekstrak buah naga merah memenuhi uji evaluasi sediaan. Metode penelitian : Penelitian dilakukan secara eksperimental, meliputi: penyiapan sampel, pembuatan ekstrak, pembuatan sediaan dan uji evaluasi sediaan. Ektrak diperoleh menggunakan metode maserasi dengan pelarut etanol 96%. Talkum, kaolin, zink oksida, parafin cair dan nipagin adalah bahan-bahan untuk pembuatan blush on compact. Sediaan Blush on ekstrak buah naga merah dibagi menjadi tiga formula yaitu formula yang mengandung ekstrak buah naga merah sebanyak 7,5 gram, 10 gram dan 12,5 gram. Hasil penelitian : Dari hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa ekstrak buah naga merah dapat diformulasikan sebagai sediaan blush on compact dan memenuhi persyaratan uji evauasi sediaan, diantaranya uji organoleptik memberikan warna peach dan pink peach, bersifat homogen, menghasilkan pH sediaan sekitaran 6,3-6,7, mempunyai uji poles yang baik, tidak mengiritasi kulit dan berdasarkan uji hedonik blush on yang paling disukai adalah formula 3 yang mengandung ekstrak buah naga merah sebanyak 12,5 gram dengan warna pink peach. Kesimpulan : Pada penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan ekstrak buah naga merah dapat diformulasikan sebagai sediaan blush on. Variasi konsentrasi pewarna ekstrak buah naga merah yang digunakan dalam formulasi menghasilkan perbedaan intensitas warna pada sediaan blush on dan seluruh sediaan blush on memenuhi persyaratan uji evaluasi sediaan.

Background : Red dragon fruit (Hylocereus polyrhizus) is a type of fruit that is rich in anthocyanin substances that gives a red color and has various benefits, one of which is as a natural dye that can replace synthetic dyes. Red dragon fruit contains other bioactive components, namely ascorbic acid, beta-carotene and flavonoids which are included in the class of antioxidant compounds to neutralize, prevent or delay cell damage caused by free radicals that attack body cells. Research objectives : To formulate red dragon fruit extract and find out the blush on compact preparation of red dragon fruit extract that meets the preparation evaluation test. Research method : The research was carried out experimentally, including: sample preparation, extract making, preparations making and preparation evaluation tests. The extract was obtained by using the maceration method with 96% ethanol as solvent. Talcum, kaolin, zinc oxide, liquid paraffin and nipagin are ingredients for making blush compacts. The blush on red dragon fruit extract was divided into three formulas, namely a formula containing 7.5 grams of red dragon fruit extract, 10 grams and 12.5 grams. Results : The results showed that the red dragon fruit extract could be formulated as a blush on compact preparation and met the requirements for the evaluation of the preparation, including the organoleptic test giving peach and pink peach colors, being homogeneous, producing a pH of about 6.3-6.7, having a pH test of 6.3-6.7. good polish, does not irritate the skin and based on the hedonic test the most preferred blush is Formula 3 with a formula that contains red dragon fruit extract as much as 12,5 grams with a pink peach color. Conclusion and Suggestion : In this study, it can be concluded that red dragon fruit extract can be formulated as a blush on preparation. Variations in the concentration of red dragon fruit extract dye used in the formulation resulted in differences in color intensity in the blush preparation and all blush on preparations met the requirements of the preparation evaluation test.

II. PERMISSION
The author is responsible for acquiring the permission(s) to reproduce any copyrighted figures, tables, data, or text that are being used in the submitted paper. III. EDITORIAL REVIEW AND REVISION
All papers will be critically read by at least two anonymous reviewers, selected for their competence in the subject area of the paper. Acceptance of the paper will depend upon its scientific merit and suitability for the journal. A paper may be accepted in its original form or subject to revision.
The reviewers' (and editor's) suggestions will be conveyed to the author, who will then have an opportunity to revise the paper. A manuscript returned to an author for revision can be held for a maximum of eight weeks.
The accepted paper will be edited by native English speakers. The cost of language editing service is currently free.
IV. PROOFS
Galley proofs (PDF format) for an accepted article will be sent by e-mail to the corresponding author for copyediting corrections. The core content of an article cannot be changed at this time. It is the author's responsibility to check the entire manuscript, including tables, figure legends, and cited reference numbers, not just the items queried. The proofs should be corrected and mailed to the editorial office within 48 hours of receipt in order to expedite publication. Only one set of corrections will be accepted. In other words, it is important to ensure that all of your corrections are sent to us in one communication.
V. Â REPRINTS
Five free reprint copies of the published article will be shipped to the corresponding authors in Indonesia only, approximately two weeks after the issue is printed. Authors, including overseas authors, who wish to purchase reprints, are required to complete the Reprint Order Form, which will be sent with the galley proofs to corresponding authors. This form must be returned together with the corrected galley proofs.
