Background of the Problem: Complications and maternal and newborn deaths mostly occur around the time of delivery, this is partly due to the assistance not being carried out by health workers with midwifery competence. The number of PUS who participated in active family planning was 1,213 PUS and the number of PUS after delivery was 130. The purpose of this study was to determine the factors related to the use of health services by fertile couples in the working area of the Uteun Pulo Health Center, Seunagan Timur District. This study is descriptive analytical with a cross-sectional study approach. The population in this study was 290 PUS and the number of samples in this study was 74 PUS using random sampling. The results of the study can be concluded that there is a relationship between PUS knowledge (p-Value = 0.007 <α = 0.05), the role of community leaders (p-Value = 0.040 <α = 0.05 and access (p-value = 0.034 <α = 0.05). towards services with the use of health services by PUS. It is expected that the Uteun Pulo Health Center, Seunagan Timur District, will conduct specific counseling by involving community leaders to increase the knowledge of PUS mothers and their husbands and increase preventive efforts with a family approach.
