Olahraga ringan mampu mengurangi rasa ketidak nyamanan yang dirasakan ibu saat proses kehamilan salah satunya yaitu prenatal yoga. Back pain in pregnant women is influenced by several factors, namely changes in posture, this is in line with the gradual increase in body weight during pregnancy and ligament retraction, the center of gravity of the body shifts forward and when combined with weak abdominal muscle stretching, this often results in a curve in the shoulders, there is a tendency for the back muscles to shorten and trigger tension that can be felt above the ligament. Light exercise can reduce the discomfort felt by mothers during the pregnancy process, one of which is prenatal yoga. This study was conducted to see the effectiveness of prenatal yoga on reducing back pain in third trimester pregnant women at the Juliana Dalimunthe Clinic, Percut Sei Tuan District. The research method used was experimental with a One Group Pretest Posttest research design. The results of this study obtained a p-value (0.00 <0.05) using the Wilcoxon Rank statistical test which means that there is an effectiveness of prenatal yoga on reducing back pain in pregnant women at the Juliana Dalimunthe Clinic, Percut Sei Tuan District.
