HUBUNGAN PERILAKU IBU DENGAN RAMPAN KARIES PADA BALITA DI TPA BATOH KECAMATAN LUENG BATA BANDA ACEH

Rampan karies merupakan penyakit multifaktorial dimana faktor tersebut saling berinteraksi. Salah satu faktornya adalah perilaku orang tua terutama ibu dalam merawat kesehatan gigi anaknya yang sangat berpengaruh terhadap timbulnya kerusakan gigi anak tersebut. Hasil pengamatan ditemukan dari 37 balita terdapat 31 balita (84%) yang mengalami rampan karies. Berdasarkan pemeriksaan awal terhadap 15 balita yang terserang rampan karies sebanyak 2 balita (13%) mengalami rampan karies yang tidak parah, 5 balita (34%) mengalami rampan karies yang parah dan sebanyak 8 balita (53%) mengalami rampan karies yang sangat parah. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan perilaku (pengetahuan, sikap dan tindakan) ibu terhadap rampan karies pada balita di TPA Batoh Kecamatan Lueng Bata Banda Aceh 2013.Penelitian ini bersifat analitik dengan derajat kepercayaan (? = 0,05). Dilaksanakan di TPA Batoh, tanggal 10 sampai 15 Juni 2013. Populasi penelitian ini adalah 31 balita dan ibu balita sebagai responden. Sampel penelitian total populasi.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata pengetahuan ibu kurang baik (15,9), rata-rata sikap ibu kategori negatif (16,4) dan rata-rata tindakan ibu kurang baik (11,8). Hasil perhitungan statistic pada perilaku ibu dengan menggunakan uji chi-square menunjukkan x2 hitung ( 14,9) lebih besar dari x2 tabel (5,991). Dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada hubungan antara perilaku, ibu dengan rampan karies pada balita. Disarankan kepada ibu agar membentuk perilaku yang lebih baik terhadap pemeliharaan kesehatan gigi dan mulut anak terutama terhadap pemberian susu botol/ ASI dengan benar dan bagi petugas kesehatan gigi hendaknya lebih meningkatkan penyuluhan kesehatan gigi dan mulut kepada ibu dan lebih memperhatikan kesehatan gigi dan mulut balitaReferensi

II. PERMISSION
The author is responsible for acquiring the permission(s) to reproduce any copyrighted figures, tables, data, or text that are being used in the submitted paper. III. EDITORIAL REVIEW AND REVISION
All papers will be critically read by at least two anonymous reviewers, selected for their competence in the subject area of the paper. Acceptance of the paper will depend upon its scientific merit and suitability for the journal. A paper may be accepted in its original form or subject to revision.
The reviewers' (and editor's) suggestions will be conveyed to the author, who will then have an opportunity to revise the paper. A manuscript returned to an author for revision can be held for a maximum of eight weeks.
The accepted paper will be edited by native English speakers. The cost of language editing service is currently free.
IV. PROOFS
Galley proofs (PDF format) for an accepted article will be sent by e-mail to the corresponding author for copyediting corrections. The core content of an article cannot be changed at this time. It is the author's responsibility to check the entire manuscript, including tables, figure legends, and cited reference numbers, not just the items queried. The proofs should be corrected and mailed to the editorial office within 48 hours of receipt in order to expedite publication. Only one set of corrections will be accepted. In other words, it is important to ensure that all of your corrections are sent to us in one communication.
V. Â REPRINTS
Five free reprint copies of the published article will be shipped to the corresponding authors in Indonesia only, approximately two weeks after the issue is printed. Authors, including overseas authors, who wish to purchase reprints, are required to complete the Reprint Order Form, which will be sent with the galley proofs to corresponding authors. This form must be returned together with the corrected galley proofs.
