Hubungan Tingkat Pengetahuan Orang Tua Dengan Kejadian Ispa Pada Balita Di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Simpang Tiga

Infeksi Saluran Pernapasan Akut (ISPA) merupakan salah satu penyakit infeksi yang sering menyerang usia anak balita (1-4 tahun) karena sistem pertahanan tubuh anak masih rendah. Salah satu faktor yang masih diduga mempengaruhi ISPA yaitu pengetahuan ibu. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah Untuk mengetahui hubungan tingkat pengetahuan orang tua dengan kejadian ISPA pada balita wilayah Puskesmas Simpang Tiga Kabupaten pidie. Sebanyak 47 orang orang tua dikumpulkan secara purposive sampling yang dilibatkan dalam penelitian ini. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada tanggal 15 s/d 23 Juli 2022. Penelitian ini bersifat deskriptif korelatif dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan kuesioner. Sedangkan analisa data dengan menggunakan uji Chi Square. Hasil uji univariat didapatkan bahwa katagori usia dominan pada katagori dewasa akhir sebanyak (57,4%), pendidikan dominan pada katagori menengah sebanyak (51,1%), pengetahuan dominan pada katagori cukup sebanyak (48,9%), kejadian ISPA dominan pada katagori sedang sebanyak (46,8%). Hasil uji bivariat diperoleh semua variabel independen yang signifikan berhubungan dengan kejadian ISPA yaitu usia (P= 0,035), pendidikan (P= 0,017) dan pengetahuan (P= 0,034). Penelitian ini diharapkan supaya dapat menambah pengetahuan ibu agar dapat mencegah angka kejadian ISPA pada anak.

Acute Respiratory Infection (ARI) is one of the infectious diseases that often attacks children under five years old (1-4 years old) because the child's body defense system is still low. One of the factors that are still suspected of influencing ARI is mother's knowledge. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between the level of parental knowledge and the incidence of ARI in children under five in the Simpang Tiga Public Health Center, Pidie Regency. A total of 47 parents were collected by purposive sampling and were involved in this study. This research was conducted on 15 to 23 July 2022. This research is descriptive correlative with a cross sectional approach. Data collection was done by using a questionnaire. While the data analysis using Chi Square test. The results of the univariate test showed that the dominant age category in the late adult category was (57.4%), the dominant education was in the intermediate category (51.1%), the dominant knowledge was in the moderate category (48.9%), the incidence of ARI was dominant in medium category (46.8%). The results of the bivariate test showed that all independent variables that were significantly related to the incidence of ARI were age (P = 0.035), education (P = 0.017), knowledge (P = 0.034). This research is expected to increase mother's knowledge in order to prevent the incidence of ARI in children

IV. PROOFS
Galley proofs (PDF format) for an accepted article will be sent by e-mail to the corresponding author for copyediting corrections. The core content of an article cannot be changed at this time. V. Â REPRINTS
Five free reprint copies of the published article will be shipped to the corresponding authors in Indonesia only, approximately two weeks after the issue is printed. Authors, including overseas authors, who wish to purchase reprints, are required to complete the Reprint Order Form, which will be sent with the galley proofs to corresponding authors. This form must be returned together with the corrected galley proofs.
