Blood sugar or blood glucose is a number of sugar levels in the blood circulation in the body. Excessive increases in blood sugar levels can cause health problems. Increased blood glucose levels are caused by unhealthy eating patterns, besides this disease is also caused by genetic factors. The jamblang plant is a plant that has potential as a traditional medicine for lowering glucose levels. Because these plants contain alkaloids, flavonoids, tannins, saponins and glucosides which have the potential to be anti-diabetic This study aims to determine the effect of administering jamblang leaf extract and the minimum dose in reducing glucose levels. This research method is laboratory experimental. The research results showed that the results of the One Way Anova test obtained a significant value on day 0 of 0.985, day 7 of 0.862, day 9 of 0.000, day 12 of 0.000 and day 15 of 0.000. The research results show that jamblang leaf extract is able to reduce glucose levels in mice. Administration of jamblang leaf extract showed a decrease in glucose levels from day 9 to day 15. Jamblang leaf extract had a significant effect on reducing blood sugar levels in mice. The conclusion is that the Administration of jamblang leaf extract can reduce blood sugar levels by 66% with a minimum dose of 100 mg/kg BB.
