PERAN KELUARGA DALAM MELAKUKAN PENDAMPINGAN PADA PASIEN RAWAT JALAN DI KLINIK PRATAMA POLRESTA BANDA ACEH

Peran keluarga sangat penting dalam mendukung kesehatan individu, khususnya pada pasien hipertensi. Hipertensi, yang didefinisikan sebagai tekanan darah sistolik di atas 140 mmHg dan diastolik di atas 90 mmHg, dapat menyebabkan komplikasi serius jika tidak dikelola dengan baik. Oleh karena itu, penting untuk memahami bagaimana keluarga berkontribusi dalam proses pendampingan pasien. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran keluarga dalam pendampingan pasien rawat jalan hipertensi di Klinik Pratama Polresta Banda Aceh. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif. Populasi sebanyak 50Â dengan pengambilan total sampling sebanyak 44 pendamping pasien hipertensi. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara dan kuesioner yang mengukur peran keluarga dalam beberapa aspek, termasuk pemilihan makanan, aktivitas fisik, manajemen stres, dan rujukan ke fasilitas kesehatan. Yang dilakukan di Klinik Pratama Polresta Banda Aceh pada bulan juni- juli 2024. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peran keluarga sangat penting dalam mendampingi pasien hipertensi rawat jalan di Klinik Pratama Polresta Banda Aceh. Keluarga berperan dalam pemilihan makanan sebanyak 30 dengan persentase 68,18, pemantauan aktivitas fisik sebanyak 26 dengan persentase 59,09, manajemen stres sebanyak 27 dengan persentase 61,36, dan memberikan dukungan emosional yang signifikan dengan merujuk ke fasilitas kesehatan masyarakat sebanyak 34 dengan persentase 77,27. Penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa peran keluarga adalah elemen kunci dalam mendukung pasien hipertensi. Disarankan agar keluarga lebih terlibat dalam perawatan, memahami masalah kesehatan, dan menciptakan lingkungan rumah yang sehat guna meningkatkan hasil kesehatan pasien.

The role of the family is vital in supporting individual health, especially in hypertensive patients. Hypertension, defined as systolic blood pressure above 140 mmHg and diastolic above 90 mmHg, can cause serious complications if not managed properly. Therefore, it is essential to understand how the family contributes to the patient's assistance process. This study aims to determine the role of the family in assisting outpatients with hypertension at the Banda Aceh Police Public Clinic. The type of research used is descriptive. The population was 50, with a total sampling of 44 companions of hypertension patients. Data were collected through interviews and questionnaires that measured the role of the family in several aspects, including food selection, physical activity, stress management, and referrals to health facilities, which was conducted at the Banda Aceh Police Public Clinic in June-July 2024. The study results showed that the family's role is very important in accompanying outpatients with hypertension at the Banda Aceh Police Public Clinic. Family plays a role in food selection as many as 30 with a percentage of 68.18, physical activity monitoring as many as 26 with a rate of 59.09, stress management as many as 27 with a percentage of 61.36, and providing significant emotional support by referring to public health facilities as many as 34 with a rate of 77.27. This study confirms that the role of the family is a key element in supporting hypertensive patients. It is recommended that families be more involved in care, understand health problems, and create a healthy home environment to improve patient health outcomes.

I. ORIGINALITY, AUTHORSHIP, AND COPYRIGHT

II. PERMISSION

III. EDITORIAL REVIEW AND REVISION
All papers will be critically read by at least two anonymous reviewers, selected for their competence in the subject area of the paper. Acceptance of the paper will depend upon its scientific merit and suitability for the journal. A paper may be accepted in its original form or subject to revision.
The reviewers' (and editor's) suggestions will be conveyed to the author, who will then have an opportunity to revise the paper. A manuscript returned to an author for revision can be held for a maximum of eight weeks.
The accepted paper will be edited by native English speakers. The cost of language editing service is currently free.
IV. PROOFS
Galley proofs (PDF format) for an accepted article will be sent by e-mail to the corresponding author for copyediting corrections. The core content of an article cannot be changed at this time. It is the author's responsibility to check the entire manuscript, including tables, figure legends, and cited reference numbers, not just the items queried. The proofs should be corrected and mailed to the editorial office within 48 hours of receipt in order to expedite publication. Only one set of corrections will be accepted. In other words, it is important to ensure that all of your corrections are sent to us in one communication.
V. Â REPRINTS
Five free reprint copies of the published article will be shipped to the corresponding authors in Indonesia only, approximately two weeks after the issue is printed. Authors, including overseas authors, who wish to purchase reprints, are required to complete the Reprint Order Form, which will be sent with the galley proofs to corresponding authors. This form must be returned together with the corrected galley proofs.
