Scientific studies and empirical Islamic economic research began to grow in various countries since 1970. IAIN North Sumatra was the first pioneer to develop Islamic economics studies. The purpose of writing this article is to examine or review the concept of compiling an Islamic economics learning curriculum in elementary schools to tertiary institutions in Indonesia. The methodology used is a qualitative descriptive approach with literacy methods. Effective Islamic economics education will have basic strengths to be implemented in society by carrying out literacy learning of Islamic economics in basic education, namely SD/MI to SMP/MTs. Islamic economic education in high schools can be poured directly into an extracurricular activity, namely the formation of sharia-based cooperatives. Where is the output of this integration, besides students being able to immediately become business actors in sharia business institutions, it is also possible that after graduating from high school, students can deepen their knowledge of Islamic economics. While the development of the Islamic economics curriculum can be mapped into three groups, namely the syari'ah financial institution curriculum development group, the sharia accounting group, and the syari'ah management group.
