Abstrak

Perumahan adalah kelompok rumah yang berfungsi sebagai lingkungan tempat tinggal atau lingkungan hunian yang dilengkapi dengan sarana dan prasarana lingkungan (UU No.4 tahun 1992). Oleh karena itu, perumahan merupakan salah satu elemen penting dalam pembangunan suatu wilayah. Bagi sebuah lingkungan perkotaan, kehadiran lingkungan perumahan sangatlah penting dan berarti karena bagian terbesar pembentuk struktur ruang perkotaan adalah lingkungan permukiman. Oleh karena itu perencanaan sebuah perumahan memegang peranan yang sangat penting dalam pengendalian laju pembangunan agar berdampak positif dan berkesinambungan. Perencanaan itu harus dilakukan, dimulai dari perencanaan rumah-rumah hingga perencanaan lingkungan permukiman dan ruang perkotaan, bahkan hingga perencanaan wilayah. Melihat pentingnya peranan perumahan bagi kehidupan manusia, maka penciptaan rumah yang layak dalam lingkungan perumahan yang sehat adalah hal yang mutlak diperlukan dan perlu didukung oleh segenap pelaku didalamnya, dalam hal ini melibatkan pengembang, pemerintah maupun masyarakat.

Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui studi literatur serta menggunakan data yang dimiliki oleh instansi terkait dalam hal ini adalah Perumahan Meriam Patah Residen Kecamatan Baitussalam. Metode pengolahan data dilakukan secara manual dengan menggunakan pengukuran langsung di lapangan untuk mencari luas keseluruhan lahan yang akan dibangun komplek Perumahan Meriam Patah Residen Tahap II.

Setelah dilakukan perhitungan maka luas lahan yang dibangun pada Perumahan Perumahan Meriam Patah Residen terdiri dari luas fasilitas perumahan (terbangun) 65,35% dan luas fasilitas lingkungan (terbuka) 34,65 % dengan total 20.570 m2 yang artinya memenuhi syarat perbandingan antara wilayah terbangun dengan wilayah terbuka yaitu sebesar 70% : 30%. Perumahan Meriam Patah Residen Tahap II merencanakan bangunan hunian sebanyak 95 unit.
