PERENCANAAN REDESAIN PASAR TRADISIONAL LAMBARO BANDA ACEH DENGAN TEMA ARSITEKTUR MODERN
Abstract
Pasar Tradisional sering kali dianggap sebagai salah satu prasarana yang membawa citra buruk bagi estetika kota. Begitu pula kondisi Pasar Tradisional Induk Lambaro di mata masyarakat Aceh Besar Maupun Banda Aceh saat ini. Pengelolaan pasar yang kurang baik, sarana dan prasarana yang sangat minim serta jumlah pedagang yang semakin menjamur sehingga menyebabkan menambah sesak pergerakan dalam pasar, menjadi permasalahan klasik yang menyebabkan ketidaknyamanan berbelanja dan juga kemacetan lalu lintas di sekitar pasar Induk Lambaro. Walaupun demikian, minat masyarakat untuk berbelanja di pasar ini tidak berkurang meskipun saat ini pembangunan pasar modern di kota Banda Aceh dan kabupaten Aceh Besar sedang berkembang begitu pesat. Harga barang yang murah dan bersaing yang ditawarkan dalam lingkup pasar tradisional menjadi pilihan solusi berbelanja dari sebagian masyarakat. Banyak pedagang dari dalam dan Aceh bergantung dari hasil dagangannya dipasar ini. Oleh karena keberadaan Pasar Tradisional Induk Lambaro yang sangat penting dalam perkembangan perekonomian kota, maka perlu dilakukan Redesain Pasar Tradisional Induk Lambaro di Aceh Besar. Dengan tidak menghilangkan bagian-bagian yang menjadi ciri khas dari objek, tema Architecture Modern diharapkan dapat mengatasi hal-hal yang menjadi permasalahan pada objek dan dapat mengangkat kembali citra pasar tradisional menjadi positif, serta memberikan kemajuan perekonomian di Aceh Besar.
