Traditional markets are often considered as one of the infrastructures that bring a bad image to the aesthetics of the city. Likewise the condition of the Lambaro Traditional Market in the eyes of the people of Aceh Besar and Banda Aceh today. Poor market management, very minimal facilities and infrastructure and an increasing number of traders, causing more congestion in the market, are classic problems that cause inconvenience to shopping and also traffic jams around the Lambaro Main market. Even so, people's interest in shopping at this market has not diminished even though currently the development of modern markets in the city of Banda Aceh and Aceh Besar district is developing so rapidly. Cheap and competitive prices for goods offered within the scope of traditional markets are the choice of shopping solutions for some people. Many traders from within and Aceh depend on their merchandise in this market. Because the existence of the Lambaro Main Traditional Market is very important in the development of the city's economy, it is necessary to redesign the Lambaro Main Traditional Market in Aceh Besar. By not eliminating the parts that are characteristic of the object, the theme of Modern Architecture is expected to be able to overcome problems that are problems with objects and can revive the image of traditional markets to be positive, as well as provide economic progress in Aceh Besar.
