This research was conducted at SMA Negeri 1 Jaya from July to September 2021 with the aim of improving student learning outcomes by using the Students Teams Achievement Divisions (STAD) method on the material on Biological Diversity of class X IPA 2 students of SMA Negeri 1 Jaya. This research which consists of 2 cycles has 26 students of class X IPA 2 SMA Negeri 1 Jaya for the academic year 2021/2022 as its subject. Data analysis used a comparative descriptive analysis technique by comparing the initial conditions with the results achieved in each cycle, and qualitative descriptive analysis of the observations by comparing the results of observations in cycle I and cycle II. Through the use of the STAD method on Biological Diversity material for students of class X IPA 2 SMA Negeri 1 Jaya, the test results in the first cycle were obtained with a completeness percentage of 53.8% with an average grade of 72.7 and increased in the second cycle test results. 92.3% with an average grade of 90. In these two cycles the change in value was significant when compared to the pre-cycle with learning completeness which only reached 30.8% and the average value was 62.4. Thus the use of the STAD method can improve student learning outcomes on biodiversity material for students of class X IPA 2 SMA Negeri 1 Jaya.
