PENERAPAN QUANTUM TEACHING PADA KEMAMPUAN PROFESIONAL GURU DALAM MATA PELAJARAN BAHASA INDONESIA DAPAT MENINGKATKAN MOTIVASI BELAJAR SISWA PADA SD NEGERI 35 KOTA BANDA ACEH

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui sejauh mana penerapan quantum teaching pada kemampuan profesional guru dalam mata pelajaran bahasa Indonesia dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa pada SD Negeri 35 kota Banda Aceh. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). Subjek penelitian yaitu siswa SD Negeri 35 kota Banda Aceh yang berjumlah 23 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui pengamatan, wawancara kepada guru kelas yang terkait, observasi untuk sumber data peristiwa dan analisis dokumen, selanjutnya dengan menggunakan teknik snow ball sampling melalui siklus penelitian yang terdiri dari perencanaan (planning), pelaksanaan (acting), pengamatan (observing), dan refleksi (reflecting) terhadap tindakan. Analisis data menggunakan statistik deskriptif kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan hasil belajar, hal ini terlihat dari tingkat persentase (%) keaktifan siswa mau melakukan tugas dan aktif dalam kegiatan diskusi, nilai siklus I mencapai nilai 22% dari 5 orang siswa, siklus II mencapai nilai 70% dari 16 siswa dan pada siklus III dari 21 siswa mencapai nilai 91%. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa dengan penerapan quantum teaching pada kemampuan profesional guru dalam mata pelajaran bahasa Indonesia dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa.

This study was conducted to determine the extent to which the application of quantum teaching on the professional ability of teachers in Indonesian subjects can increase students' learning motivation at SD Negeri 35 Banda Aceh. This type of research is classroom action research (CAR). The research subjects were the students of SD Negeri 35 Banda Aceh, totaling 23 students. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, interviews with related class teachers, observations for event data sources and document analysis, then using snow ball sampling technique through a research cycle consisting of planning (planning), acting (acting), observing (observing). , and reflection (reflecting) on the action. Data analysis used quantitative and qualitative descriptive statistics. The results showed an increase in learning outcomes, this can be seen from the percentage level (%) of active students willing to do assignments and be active in discussion activities, the value of the first cycle reached a value of 22% of 5 students, the second cycle reached a value of 70% of 16 students and in the third cycle of 21 students achieved a score of 91%. Thus, it can be concluded that by applying quantum teaching to the professional ability of teachers in Indonesian subjects, it can increase students' learning motivation.
