KESIAPSIAGAAN KOMUNITAS SEKOLAH DALAM MENGHADAPI BENCANA GEMPA BUMI DAN TSUNAMI DI SMA NEGERI 1 BAITUSSALAM KABUPATEN ACEH BESAR

Kesiapsiagaan ini diperlukan untuk mengurangi korban jiwa akibat gempa bumi dan tsunami. Focus utama penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui kesiapsiagaan komunitas sekolah dalam menghadapi bencana gempa bumi dan Tsunami di SMA Negeri 1 Baitussalam Kabupaten Aceh Besar. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan analisis deskriptif. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menggambarkan atau mendeskripsikan data untuk mengukur tingkat kesiapsiagaan komunitas sekolah dalam menghadapi bencana gempa bumi dan tsunami.  Jenis penelitian ini adalah studi kasus di SMA Negeri 1 Baitussalam Kabupaten Aceh Besar. Populasi pada penelitian ini terbagi menjadi dua yaitu jumlah siswa dan jumlah Guru SMA Negeri 1 Baitussalam Kabupaten Aceh Besar. Dengan total siswa 367 siswa yang terbagi dalam 15 rombel. Temuan studi diketahui bahwa siswa SMA Negeri 1 Baitussalam Aceh Besar yang berada pada zona merah memiliki kategori kesiapsiagaan rendah sebanyak 21 responden (56.75%) sedangkan siswa yang memiliki kesiapsiagaan sedang hanya 16 responden (43.24%). Artinya, tingkat kesiapsiagaan siswa SMA Negeri 1 Baitussalam Aceh Besar secara keseluruhan dalam menghadapi bencana gempa bumi dan tsunami. Hasil penelitian juga ditemukan bahwa jumlah responden yang memiliki pengetahuan tinggi dengan responden yang memiliki pengetahuan rendah hampir berimbang, hanya selisih sebanyak 8.10%.

This preparedness is necessary to reduce the loss of life caused by earthquakes and tsunamis. The main focus of the research was to determine the preparedness of the school community in dealing with earthquake and tsunami disasters at Baitussalam 1 Public High School, Aceh Besar District. This research uses quantitative research with descriptive analysis. This research was conducted to describe or describe data to measure the school community’s preparedness level in dealing with earthquakes and tsunamis. This type of research is a case study at Baitussalam 1 Public High School, Aceh Besar District. The population in this study was divided into two, namely the number of students and the number of teachers at SMA Negeri 1 Baitussalam Aceh Besar District. With a total of 367 students divided into 15 groups. The findings of the study revealed that students of SMA Negeri 1 Baitussalam Aceh Besar who were in the red zone had a low preparedness category of 21 respondents (56.75%) while students who had medium preparedness were only 16 respondents (43.24%). That is, the level of preparedness of students of SMA Negeri 1 Baitussalam Aceh Besar as a whole in dealing with earthquakes and tsunamis. The results of the study also found that the number of respondents who had high knowledge and respondents who had low knowledge were almost equal, with only a difference of 8.10%.
