PENINGKATAN KEMAMPUAN KOGNITIF ANAK MELALUI PEMBELAJARAN BERHITUNG PADA KELOMPOK A DI TK LAMPUUK KECAMATAN LHOKNGA ACEH BESAR

Penelitian ini berkaitan dengan problem yang dialami guru dan dilatarbelakangi kurang kemampuan berhitung anak yang dipengaruhi oleh kurangnya penggunaan media dalam pembelajaran berhitung. Penelitian ini untuk mengetahui bagaimana peningkatan kemampuan kognitif anak melalui permbelajaran berhitung dan bagaimana respons anak terhadap pembelajaran berhitung untuk meningkatkan kemampuan kognitif anak di TK Lampuuk Kecamatan Lhoknga Aceh Besar. Subjek dalam penelitian ini anak kelompok A yang berjumlah 20 anak yang terdiri dari 11 anak laki-laki dan 9 anak perempuan. Dalam penelitian ini peneliti menggunakan lembaran observasi anak data yang terkumpul, kemudian dianalisis dengan menggunakan rumus persentase. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan kemampuan kognitif melalui pembelajaran berhitung pada setiap siklusnya. Pada siklus I (MB) mulai berkembang 39%, (BSH) berkembang sesuai harapan 36%, (BSB) berkembang sangat baik 5%. Pada siklus II lebih meningkat lagi yaitu (BSH) berkembang sesuai harapan 25%, (BSB) berkembang sangat baik 55%.

This research is related to the problems experienced by teachers and the background is the lack of children's numeracy skills which is affected by the lack of use of media in learning to count. This research is to find out how to improve children's cognitive abilities through learning to count and how children's responses to learning to count to improve children's cognitive abilities in Lampuuk Kindergarten, Lhoknga District, Aceh Besar. The subjects in this study were group A children, totaling 20 children consisting of 11 boys and 9 girls. In this study the researcher used child observation sheets to collect data, then analyzed using the percentage formula. The results showed that there was an increase in cognitive ability through learning to count in each cycle. In cycle I (MB) began to develop 39%, (BSH) developed as expected 36%, (BSB) developed very well 5%. In cycle II it increased even more, namely (BSH) developed as expected 25%, (BSB) developed very well 55%.
