PENINGKATAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA PADA MATERI LIMIT FUNGSI ALJABAR MELALUI MODEL PEMBELAJARAN DISCOVERY LEARNING KELAS XI MIPA 2 SMA NEGERI 1 MEUREUDU PIDIE JAYA

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar dan aktivitas siswa kelas XI MIPA 2 semester 2 SMA Negeri 1 Meureudu Kabupaten Pidie jaya pada materi Limit fungsi aljabar melalui model pembelajaran Discovery Learning. Penelitian dilaksanakan selama 3 bulan dari Januari-Maret 2021 dengan 31 orang siswa yang terdiri dari 12 laki-laki dan 19 orang siswa perempuan. Metodologi Penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas yang berlangsung dalam semester 1 terdiri dari 2 siklus. Setiap siklus 2 kali tatap muka. Alokasi waktu untuk setiap tatap muka adalah 2 jam pelajaran. Prosedur yang dilakukan yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini adalah mulai dari perencanaan, pelaksanaan kegiatan, observasi, refleksi. Data penelitian ini secara kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Data bersumber dari siswa dan peneliti. Teknik pengumpulan data diperoleh dari data mengenai hasil belajar diambil dengan memberikan evaluasi pada setiap akhir siklus, data mengenai kinerja guru dalam pembelajaran dan aktivitas siswa dalam kelompok diambil dengan menggunakan lembar observasi dan data mengenai tanggapan siswa terhadap pembelajaran dengan menggunakan angket refleksi siswa terhadap pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan hasil belajar siswa kelas XI MIPA 2 semester 2 SMA Negeri 1 Meureudu Kabupaten Pidie jaya pada materi Limit fungsi aljabar melalui model pembelajaran Discovery Learning (DL) dan terjadi peningakatan aktivitas siswa kelas XI MIPA 2 semester 2 SMA Negeri 1 Meureudu Kabupaten Pidie jaya pada materi Limit fungsi aljabar dapat ditingkatkan melalui model pembelajaran Discovery Learning (DL).

The purpose of this study was to improve the learning outcomes and activities of students in class XI MIPA 2 semester 2 of SMA Negeri 1 Meureudu, Pidie Jaya Regency in the material Limits of algebraic functions through the Discovery Learning learning model. The research was carried out for 3 months from January to March 2021 with 31 students consisting of 12 boys and 19 girls. The research methodology is Classroom Action Research which takes place in semester 1 consisting of 2 cycles. Each cycle 2 times face to face. The time allocation for each face-to-face meeting is 2 hours of lessons. The procedures carried out in this study were from planning, implementing activities, observing, reflecting. The data of this research are quantitative and qualitative. Data sourced from students and researchers. Data collection techniques were obtained from data regarding learning outcomes taken by providing evaluations at the end of each cycle, data regarding teacher performance in learning and student activities in groups were taken using observation sheets and data regarding student responses to learning by using student reflection questionnaires on learning. The results showed that there was an increase in the learning outcomes of students in class XI MIPA 2 semester 2 of SMA Negeri 1 Meureudu, Pidie Jaya Regency in the limit of algebraic functions through the Discovery Learning (DL) learning model and there was an increase in the activity of students in class XI MIPA 2 semester 2 of SMA Negeri 1 Meureudu Pidie Jaya District is successful in material Limits of algebraic functions can be improved through the Discovery Learning (DL) learning model.
