INTENSITAS KOMUNIKASI IBU HAMIL TERHADAP JANIN SEBAGAI RANGSANGAN PENDENGARAN DAN PERKEMBANGAN OTAK DALAM PERKENALAN KOSAKATA

Abstrak
Usaha perkenalan kosa kata dapat dimulai sejak dari janin dalam kandungan melalui rangsangan. Para kandungan ahli berpendapat semakin cepat rangsangan itu diberikan akan semakin baik pula perkembangan otak janin. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pemahaman ibu hamil akan manfaat dari melakukan rangsangan terhadap janin dan untuk mengetahui bentuk rangsangan apa yang digunakan para ibu hamil serta intensitas rangsangan dalam bentuk komunikasi tersebut. Terdapat tiga belas orang ibu hamil dengan usia kandungan trisemester ketiga sebagai sampel pada penelitian yang dilakukan di Puskesmas di Banda Aceh dan Aceh Besar. Data yang dikumpulkan melalui wawancara langsung dianalisis dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif menunjukkan bahwa para ibu hamil mengetahui dengan baik manfaat pembarian rangsangan komunikasi kepada janin untuk perkembangan indera pendengaran dan perkembangan otak janin dalam memperkenalkan kosakata. Para ibu hamil tersebut melakukan stimulasi komunikasi secara teratur. Bentuk rangsangan yang paling sering diberikan adalah memperdengarkan lantunan ayat suci al-quran, baik yang dibacakan langsung oleh sang ibu maupun diperdengarkan dari rekaman, janin juga diajak berbincang tentang kegiatan yang dilakukan sang ibu. Dari penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa usaha ibu hamil dalam memberikan rangsangan kepada si buah hati akan berdampak baik untuk calon anak nantinya terutama dalam hal penguasaan kosa kata karena sang ibu telah memperkenalkannya sejak dari dalam kandungan.
