The number of complaints about difficulties in mathematics online learning is directly proportional to the results of its learning. One of the reason is that there is too little available or scheduled time in one class. This condition makes students less enthusiastic and do not enjoy learning so that it is hoped that there is a learning that can accommodate this. Teungku Rangkang’s learning is expected to be more effective in terms of the spending time and the role of students in the learning process in accordance with the current pandemic conditions. The author tried to apply this learning model to the material; Trigonometric Equations. In this lesson, the teacher researcher as Teungku Dayah (Teungku Chiek) would determine which of the students would become the extension who would later be known as Teungku Balee. This teaching learning process conducted by classical conventional learning through Google Classroom and WhatsApp group. The findings of this study concluded that the application of Teungku Rangkang Cooperative Learning can increase the learning outcomes by 20.29% and students’ activities with a scale of 3 which is a good category for Mathematics subjects, especially Basic Competencies 3.1 Explaining and determining solutions and trigonometric equations for students at XI MIPA SMA Negeri 1 Banda Aceh for the academic year 2020-2021.
