Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Group Investigation dalam Menganalisiskemampuan Pemecahan Masalah Matematis dan Self-Concept Mahasiswa

Penelitian ini merupakan suatu studi kuasi eksperimen dengan desain penelitian Nonekuivalen Control-Group Design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh Mahasiswa D-IV Jurusan Teknik Mesin dengan mengambil dua kelas (eksperimen dan kontrol) yang akan dijadikan sampel dalam penelitian. Kelas eksperimen memperoleh model pembelajaran matematika tipe group investigation dan kelas kontrol memperoleh pembelajaran konvensional. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah pre-test dan post-test untuk kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis dan self-conceptmahasiswa serta lembar observasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, diketahui bahwa (1) Kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis mahasiswa yang memperoleh model pembelajaran matematika tipe group investigation lebih baik daripada mahasiswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran konvensional; (2) Self-Conceptmahasiswa yang memperoleh model pembelajaran matematika tipe group investigation lebih baik daripada mahasiswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran konvensional. Penggunaan model pembelajaran matematika tipe group investigation dalampembelajaran terbuktidapatmeningkatkankemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis dan self-conceptmahasiswa menjadilebih baik.
