PERBEDAAN PRESTASI BELAJAR SISWA BERLATAR BELAKANG PENDIDIKAN ANAK USIA DINI DAN NON PENDIDIKAN ANAK USIA DINI

Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini (PAUD) memiliki pengaruh besar bagi prestasi belajar siswa pada jenjang pendidikan sekolah dasar. Anak yang mendapatkan pendidikan sejak usia dini memiliki kesiapan belajar yang lebih baik, mandiri, mampu mengoptimalkan potensi yang dimiliki dan dapat meningkatkan prestasi belajar di sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui perbedaan prestasi belajar siswa/i berlatar belakang PAUD dan non-PAUD di SD Negeri Kajhu Kecamatan Baitussalam Kabupaten Aceh Besar. Penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan rancangan penelitian quasi experimental. Penelitian dilakukan di SD Negeri Kajhu dengan total keseluruhan siswa kelas I berjumlah 61 orang terdiri dari rombel A dan B. Teknik pengambilan sampel dilakukan secara purposive sampling, sehingga sampel dalam penelitian ini yaitu siswa/i kelas IA yang berjumlah 30 orang. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan lembar angket yang selanjutnya dianalisis menggunakan uji t-test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai rata-rata yang dicapai oleh siswa yang berlatar belakang PAUD yaitu  yaitu 71,79 sedangkan nilai rata-rata yang dicapai oleh murid yang berlatar belakang non-PAUD yaitu 62,87, dengan nilai sig 0,000 yang artinya terdapat perbedaan prestasi belajar siswa atau siswi berlatar belakang PAUD dan non-PAUD. Kemudian siswa/i yang berlatar belakang PAUD memiliki prestasi belajar baik dibandingkan dengan siswa/i yang tidak berlatar belakang PAUD.

Early Childhood Education (ECE) has a significant influence on students' learning achievement at the elementary school level. Children who receive education from an early age have better learning readiness, independence, can optimize their potential, and can improve learning achievement in elementary school. This study was conducted to determine the difference in learning achievement between students with ECE background and those without an ECE background at Kajhu Public Elementary School in Baitussalam Subdistrict, Aceh Besar Regency. The research was conducted using quantitative research methods with a quasi-experimental research design. The study was carried out at Kajhu Public Elementary School with a total of 61 first-grade students comprising classes A and B. The sampling technique was purposive sampling, resulting in a sample of 30 students from class IA. The research instrument used a questionnaire sheet which was then analyzed using the t-test. The results showed that the average score achieved by students with an ECE background was 71.79, while the average score achieved by students without an ECE background was 62.87, with a significance value of 0.000, indicating a difference in learning achievement between students with ECE and non-ECE backgrounds. Furthermore, students with an ECE background showed better learning achievement compared to those without an ECE background.
