FINANCIAL FEASIBILITY ANALYSIS OF RENEWABLE ENERGY SYSTEM USING RETSCREEN EXPERT IN ARCHIPELAGO AREAS

Wilayah Kepulauan Banyak mengalami peningkatan konsumsi energi sebesar 6% setiap tahun, sementara pasokan listriknya masih bergantung pada Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Diesel (PLTD) yang berbiaya tinggi dan menghasilkan emisi karbon yang besar. Kondisi geografis kepulauan menyebabkan integrasi jaringan listrik menjadi sulit, sehingga distribusi listrik belum merata di seluruh pulau. Untuk mengurangi ketergantungan terhadap energi fosil dan mendukung transisi menuju energi berkelanjutan, penelitian ini mengeksplorasi potensi energi terbarukan di Kepulauan Banyak dengan menggunakan analisis RETScreen Expert. Studi kelayakan ekonomi antara Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Surya (PLTS) dan Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Bayu (PLTB) dilakukan dengan tiga skenario umur proyek, yaitu 20, 30, dan 40 tahun. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa energi angin memiliki kelayakan finansial dan potensi teknis tertinggi pada seluruh skenario, serta mampu memenuhi kebutuhan energi di wilayah tersebut secara berkelanjutan. Temuan ini mengungkap potensi energi terbarukan yang dapat dimanfaatkan untuk pengembangan pembangkit listrik hijau di kepulauan. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi acuan bagi pemerintah dalam perencanaan tata ruang energi dan penentuan lokasi pembangunan yang efisien secara finansial, sekaligus memperkuat ketahanan energi, mendorong pembangunan rendah karbon, dan mempercepat transisi energi berkelanjutan.Referensi
