PEMBELAJARAN BERBASIS PUBLIC SPEAKER, ENTREPRENEUR AND WRITER (PEW) DI SDIT QUANTUM SCHOOL ACEH

AbstrakÂ
Perwujudan SDM yang cakap dan berkualitas merupakan salah satu tujuan pendidikan yang sepatutnya dicapai dan diwujudkan oleh setiap sekolah agar mampu mengatasi berbagai tuntutan dan tantangan hidup sehari-hari. Hal ini sangat perlu ditanamkan sejak dini mengingat berbagai tantangan yang dihadapi di era sekarang. Nilai-nilai PEW menjadi pokok penting dalam pembentukan kecakapan hidup (life Skill) para peserta didik. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui: (1) Proses pembelajaran berbasis Public Speaker, Enterpreneur and Writer (PEW) di SDIT Quantum School Aceh, (2) Kendala-kendala dalam proses pembelajaran berbasis Public Speaker, Enterpreneur and Writer (PEW) di SDIT Quantum School Aceh, (3) Upaya-upaya sekolah dalam mengatasi kendala-kendala dalam proses pembelajaran berbasis Public Speaker, Enterpreneur and Writer (PEW) di SDIT Quantum School Aceh. Metode penelitian bersifat kualitatif, yaitu dengan mendeskripsikan data yang diperoleh di lapangan. Teknik pengumpulan data diperoleh melalui wawancara, observasi dan studi dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data dapat dianalisis melalui tiga tahap, yaitu: reduksi data, penyajian data dan verifikasi data. Dari hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, proses pembelajaran berbasis PEW di SDIT Quantum School Aceh telah diterapkan dalam setiap aktivitas pembelajaran di kelas (indoor study) maupun pembelajaran di luar kelas (outdoor study). Kegiatan indoor study meliputi kegiatan membuat suatu produk (acraft) sesuai dengan tema yang sedang dipelajari. Sedangkan yang termasuk kegiatan outdoor study terdapat kegiatan market day, reading book, talent focus, talent show. SDIT Quantum School Aceh memiliki kendala dalam pembelajaran berbasis PEW diantaranya: Bahasa dan keterbatasan waktu mengajar, maka upaya dalam mengatasi kendala-kendala tersebut, SDIT Quantum School Aceh melatih kemampuan berbahasa peserta didik yang benar dan guru dituntut kreatif serta memperbanyak media pembelajaran sebagai alat bantu mengajar dalam mengatasi keterbatasan waktu.
