PELAKSANAAN PROGRAM PARENTING BAGI ORANG TUA SISWA DI KUTTAB AL-FATIH BANDA ACEH

Abstrak
Program keayahibuan (parenting) menjadi salah satu program dalam penguatan kehidupan keluarga dan masyarakat Indonesia. Program pengasuhan sebagai langkah yang dilakukan sekolah untuk melibatkan orang tua dalam pendidikan. Program ini memberikan  penguatan dalam kehidupan masyarakat, terutama perkembangan anak Sekolah Dasar (SD), metode pengasuhan dan pola komunikasi yang dijalankan oleh sebagian besar masyarakat.  Pendekatan yang  tepat dalam pendidikan  keluarga diharapkan  mampu memberikan peningkatan kualitas kehidupan, tidak hanya menggunakan pendekatan ekonomi, melainkan dengan menggunakan pendekatan pendidikan yang diharapkan jauh lebih mampu membentuk karakter masyarakat Indonesia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan proses pelaksanaan program parenting bagi orang tua siswa di SD Kutab Al-Fatih Banda Aceh. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Pengumpulan data dengan metode observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data yang digunakan melalui beberapa tahap yaitu: pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan kesimpulan, sedangkan keabsahan data menggunakan teknik triangulasi sumber. Subjek penelitian meliputi : pengelola, pendidik, dan orang tua siswa kelas tinggi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: Proses pelaksanaan  program parenting dimulai dari tahap perencanaan oleh panitia dari pengelola, pendidik, orang tua siswa; pelaksanaan acara dimulai dari awal hingga akhir sesuai dengan susunan acara, metode yang digunakan adalah ceramah dan tanya jawab, sedangkan media yang digunakan yaitu LCD; evaluasi diadakan setelah dilaksanakannya program parenting, hal yang dievaluasi meliputi keseluruhan acara.
