ANALISIS KEMAMPUAN MAHASISWA PRODI PENDIDIKAN GURU MADRASAH IBTIDAIYAH (PGMI) FAKULTAS TARBIYAH DAN KEGURUAN (FTK) UIN AR-RANIRY DALAM MATA KULIAH STATISTIK PENDIDIKAN

           Statistik Pendidikan merupakan salah satu mata kuliah wajib bagi mahasiswa. Mata kuliah ini termasuk salah satu mata kuliah yang kurang diminati oleh mahasiswa karena berhubungan dengan rumus-rumus dan angka seperti juga halnya pelajaran matematika. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif yang bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan atau menggambarkan kemampuan mahasiswa pada mata kuliah statistik pendidikan. Penelitian  ini di lakukan di Fakultas Tarbiyah dan Keguruan (FTK) UIN Ar-Raniry semester genap tahun 2019-2020. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh  mahasiswa  prodi PGMI yang  mengambil mata kuliah Statistik Pendidikan. Sedangkan  yang dijadikan  sampel sebanyak 60 orang yang terdiri dari dua unit/kelas yang dipilih secara acak. Pengumpulan  data dilakukan  melalui  tes  dan wawancara. sedangkan analisis datanya menggunakan statistik deskriptif. Berdasarkan analisis data dapat disimpulkan bahwa persentase kemampuan mahasiswa prodi PGMI dalam mata kuliah statistik pendidikan yang memiliki  kategori  baik sebanyak 16 mahasiswa (26.7%), kategori cukup 22 mahasiswa (36.7%)  dan kategori kurang sebanyak 22 mahasiswa (36.7%). Kesulitan yang sering dialami mahasiswa umumnya terletak pada kurang teliti dalam berhitung ketika menjawab soal serta kebingungan dalam menentukan rumus yang akan digunakan.
