PENGEMBANGAN MODUL DENGAN PENDEKATAN STEAM PADA PEMBELAJARAN IPA BERBASIS SSI UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KREATIVITAS SISWA SEKOLAH DASAR

Kreativitas ilmiah harus dilatihkan kepada siswa tingkat Sekolah Dasar sejak dini, sebagai bekal siswa memiliki keterampilan berpikir kreatif dan melatihkan kreativitas siswa. Upaya yang dapat dilakukan untuk meningkatkan kreativitas siswa yaitu dengan menerapkan pendekatan pembelajaran STEAM (Science, Technology, Enginering, Art, Mathematics) dengan mengaitkan SSI dalam pembelajaran. Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut penulis bertujuan untuk mengembangkan Modul dengan pendekatan STEAM pada pembelajaran IPA berbasis SSI untuk meningkatkan kreativitas siswa sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain research and development (R&D) dengan model 4-D. subjek pada penelitian ini adalah 26 siswa kelas IV SDN 57 Banda Aceh. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini adalah observasi, wawancara, angket, dan tes. Teknik analisis data penelitian ini meliputi analisis hasil validasi media, analisis data kepraktisan media, analisis ketuntasan klasikal, dan analisis hasil tes siswa. Hasil dari penelitian ini meliputi: 1) Modul dengan pendekatan STEAM berbasis SSI; 2) Modul dengan pendekatan STEAM berbasis SSI sangat valid dengan nilai rata-rata keseluruhan uji validasi media sebesar 0,93 dan Modul yang dikembangkan berkualitas sangat praktis dengan nilai rata-rata keseluruhan uji kepraktisan media sebesar 0,89%; 3) Nilai ketuntasan klasikal uji keefektifan media memperoleh hasil efektifitas tinggi dengan presentase 0,88%; 4) Modul dinyatakan efektif dengan adanya perbedaan antara skor pretest dan posttest, serta hasil dari uji N-Gain dengan rata-rata 0,60 berklasifikasi sedang. Simpulan dari penelitian ini adalah Modul dengan pendekatan STEAM pada pembelajaran IPA berbasis SSI efektif digunakan untuk meningkatkan kreativitas siswa Sekolah Dasar
