UPAYA KEPALA SEKOLAH MENINGKATKAN KOMPETENSI GURU DALAM PENGELOLAAN KELAS MELALUI SUPERVISI AKADEMIK DI SMP NEGERI 2 MESJID RAYA KABUPATEN ACEH BESAR

Supervisi akademik sebagai upaya meningkatkan kompetensi guru dalam pengelolaan kelas. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMP Negeri 2 Mesjid Raya Aceh Besar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuktikan secara ilmiah melalui supervisi akademik dapat meningkatkan kompetensi guru dalam pengelolaan kelas. Sedangkan secara khusus untuk meningkatkan kompetensi guru dalam pengelolaan kelas pada SMP Negeri 2 Mesjid Raya Aceh Besar. Adapun subjek penelitian dalam penelitian ini adalah para guru di SMP Negeri 2 Mesjid Raya Aceh Besar, yang berjumlah 10 guru, dengan prosedur penelitian secara klasikal sebanyak 2 siklus. Metode penelitian ini mengunakan metode deskriptif dan pendekatan kualitatif, teknik pengumpulan data melalui pengamatan menggunakan lembar observasi dan instrument yang digunakan adalah non tes. Hasil yang diperoleh pada pada siklus I yang mencapai garis standar 40%. Dan pada kegiatan supervisi akademik siklus II yang mencapai garis standar 80%, menunjukkan ada peningkatan kompetensi guru dalam mengelola kelas pada SMP Negeri 2 Mesjid Raya Aceh Besar secara signifikan. Ini menunjukkan bahwa (1) Supervisi akademik pengelolaan kelas terbukti secara ilmiah dapat meningkatkan kompetensi guru dalam pengelolaan kelas pada SMP Negeri 2 Mesjid Raya Aceh Besar (2) Pelaksanaan Supervisi akademik pengelolaan kelas sangat bermanfaat bagi guru dalam rangka meningkatkan kompetensinya menjadi guru yang handal dan professional.

Publication decisions
