Abstrak
Generasi milenial dan generasi Z, sebagai dua kelompok generasi yang signifikan dalam sejarah demografi manusia, telah menjadi fokus perhatian dalam berbagai studi yang mencoba untuk memahami perilaku dan pola pikir mereka. Keduanya memiliki pengaruh yang cukup besar terhadap keputusan-keputusan sosial dan politik yang diambil di berbagai negara, termasuk dalam pemilihan umum. Sejak awal abad ke-21, keduanya telah menjadi subjek penelitian yang menarik karena keunikan dalam nilai-nilai, preferensi, dan perilaku mereka, yang pada gilirannya mempengaruhi dinamika politik. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dengan pendekatan studi literatur untuk menganalisa determinan persepsi perilaku generasi milenial dengan generasi Z mempengaruhi keputusan dalam pemilihan umum 2024. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa persepsi dan perilaku generasi milenial dan generasi Z mempengaruhi keputusan mereka dalam melakukan pemungutan suara dan dapat membuat keputusan yang tepat dalam memilih pemimpin yang mampu mewakili dan memperjuangkan kepentingan mereka.

DETERMINANTS OF BEHAVIORAL PERCEPTIONS OF MILLENNIALS AND GENERATION Z INFLUENCING DECISIONS IN THE 2024 GENERAL ELECTION

Abstract
Millennials and Generation Z, as two significant generational groups in the history of human demography, have become the focus of attention in studies that try to understand their behavior and mindset. Both have considerable influence on social and political decisions taken in various countries, including in elections. Since the beginning of the 21st century, both have become interesting research subjects due to the uniqueness of their values, preferences, and behaviors, which in turn affect political dynamics. This research uses a descriptive qualitative research method with a literature study approach to analyze the determinants of the perception of millennial generation behavior with Generation Z influencing decisions in the 2024 general election. The results of this study show that the perceptions and behaviors of Millennials and Generation Z influence their decisions in voting and can make the right decisions in choosing leaders who are able to represent and fight for their interests.
