PEMANFAATAN MEDIA DIGITAL BERBASIS VIDEO ANIMASI UNTUK MEMOTIVASI BELAJAR IPAS SISWA KELAS IV DI SD NEGERI GAROT ACEH BESAR

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas pemanfaatan media digital berbasis video animasi dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa kelas IV pada mata pelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam dan Sosial (IPAS) di SD Negeri Garot, Aceh Besar. Latar belakang penelitian didasari oleh rendahnya motivasi belajar siswa akibat penggunaan metode pembelajaran konvensional yang kurang menarik. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif dengan subjek sebanyak 34 siswa. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi dan angket. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan video animasi mampu meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa, yang ditandai dengan peningkatan antusiasme, fokus, dan partisipasi aktif selama pembelajaran. Hasil angket menunjukkan bahwa 89,55% siswa merasa termotivasi untuk belajar. Selain itu, media video animasi memudahkan pemahaman konsep-konsep abstrak secara konkret dan menarik. Meskipun demikian, beberapa siswa masih menunjukkan kecenderungan menunda belajar. Secara keseluruhan, media video animasi terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan motivasi dan pemahaman siswa pada pembelajaran IPAS.

Publication decisions
