Abstract

Informasi cuaca hujan merupakan salah satu informasi cuaca yang sering dipantau
oleh masyarakat. Informasi terjadinya hujan penting bagi masyarakat untuk diketahui
sebagai salah satu variabel pengambilan keputusan bagi pekerjaan-pekerjaan mereka
atau aktifitas yang harus dijalankan atau dihentikan. Salah satu kegiatan rumah
tangga yang selalu berpengaruh dengan adanya cuaca adalah proses penjemuran baik
penjemuran usaha produksi rumah tangga maupun penjemuran pakaian rumah
tangga. Saat ini kegiatan masyarakat banyak dilakukan diluar rumah dan sering sekali
urusan pekerjaan rumah dilakukan sebisanya selama waktu pekerjaan tidak
terganggu. Akan tetapi banyak kegiatan rumah yang tidak pernah selesai diakibatkan
oleh tidak ada pemantauan atau pun penanganan dari pengguna, seperti sistem
penjemuran pakaian konvensional yang dilakukan oleh banyak masyarakat yang
bekerja di luar rumah. Dimana pada kondisi hujan pakaian yang dijemur tidak dapat
di tangani oleh pemiliknya diakibatkan jauh dari rumah. Maka oleh sebab itu
diperlukan sebuah sistem kendali penutup penjemuran jarak jauh yang diintegrasikan
dengan sistem pemantauan cuaca hujan secara jarak jauh menggunakan media
internet. Tujuan penelitian adalah membangun sebuah sistem deteksi monitoring
hujan yang terintegrasi dengan sistem kendali jemuran jarak jauh menggunakan
mikrokontroler Arduino Uno. Metodelogi yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah
metode SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) dengan menggunakan
pemrograman C dan HTML. Penelitian ini menghasilkan sistem deteksi monitoring
hujan yang terintegrasi dengan sistem kendali jemuran jarak jauh menggunakan
mikrokontroler Arduino Uno. Sistem telah berhasil memberi informasi adanya hujan
dan mengendalikan jemuran dalam satu lokasi secara jarak jauh melalui simulasi
berbasis jaringan wireless.
