PENERAPAN ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE PADA CHATBOT PANDUAN BIDANG AKADEMIK MENGGUNAKAN ALGORITMA FORWARD CHAINING

Penelitian ini mengimplementasikan kecerdasan buatan dalam bentuk chatbot panduan akademik via WhatsApp, menggunakan algoritma forward chaining dan framework Laravel. Metode pengujian meliputi blackbox, whitebox, dan system usability scale, dengan desain waterfall dan visualisasi seperti DFD, ERD, dan flowchart. Data diperoleh dari kuisioner dan wawancara di Universitas Teuku Umar. Chatbot ini berhasil memberikan informasi penting seperti jurusan, penerimaan mahasiswa, pengurusan berkas, UKT, wisuda, dan lainnya, serta mengatasi kendala dalam pencarian informasi akademik. Dengan demikian, aplikasi chatbot yang dirancang untuk layanan akademik di Universitas Teuku Umar mampu memberikan informasi yang relevan seputar beragam topik. Sistem chatbot ini diharapkan dapat menjadi solusi efektif dalam mengatasi kendala-kendala yang mungkin muncul dalam proses mencari dan memahami informasi akademik di lingkungan kampus.

This research implements artificial intelligence in the form of an academic guidance chatbot via WhatsApp, using a forward chaining algorithm and the Laravel framework. Testing methods include black box, white box, and system usability scale, with waterfall design and visualization such as DFD, ERD, and flowcharts. Data was obtained from questionnaires and interviews at Teuku Umar University. This chatbot succeeded in providing important information such as majors, student admissions, file management, UKT, graduations, and others, as well as overcoming obstacles in searching for academic information. Thus, the chatbot application designed for academic services at Teuku Umar University is able to provide relevant information about various topics. It is hoped that this chatbot system can be an effective solution in overcoming obstacles that may arise in the process of searching for and understanding academic information in the campus environment.
