Abstract

Pengelolaan administrasi pesantren di Kanwil Kementerian Agama Provinsi Aceh masih menghadapi kendala dalam efisiensi pencatatan, pencarian, dan pemrosesan data secara real-time. Proses administrasi yang dilakukan secara manual menyebabkan keterlambatan dalam akses informasi, duplikasi data, serta kurangnya transparansi dalam pengelolaan pesantren. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan dan menerapkan Sistem Informasi Manajemen Pesantren berbasis website guna meningkatkan efisiensi administrasi dan efektivitas pengelolaan data pesantren di Aceh. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui studi kepustakaan, observasi langsung di Kanwil Kementerian Agama Provinsi Aceh, serta wawancara dengan pegawai terkait. Sistem yang dikembangkan berbasis PHP dengan framework  CodeIgniter, dan diimplementasikan menggunakan Visual Studio Code  sebagai alat bantu pengelolaan kode. Hasil implementasi menunjukkan bahwa sistem ini berhasil meningkatkan efisiensi administrasi dengan mengurangi waktu pencarian data pesantren hingga 75% lebih cepat dibandingkan metode manual. Selain itu, sistem ini memungkinkan pesantren untuk melakukan pendaftaran, pelaporan kegiatan, dan pembaruan data santri secara mandiri, yang mempercepat proses administrasi hingga 80% lebih efektif dibandingkan sebelumnya. Dari sisi transparansi, sistem ini memberikan akses real-time kepada Kanwil Kementerian Agama Provinsi Aceh dalam memonitor seluruh pesantren yang terdaftar. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa penerapan Sistem Informasi Manajemen Pesantren berbasis website secara signifikan meningkatkan efektivitas dan efisiensi pengelolaan data pesantren. Untuk pengembangan lebih lanjut, sistem ini disarankan untuk diintegrasikan dengan server khusus di Kanwil Kementerian Agama Provinsi Aceh guna meningkatkan keamanan data serta dikembangkan dalam bentuk aplikasi mobile berbasis Android agar lebih fleksibel digunakan oleh admin pesantren.
