PENGEMBANGAN MEDIA BERBENTUK INFOGRAFIS SEBAGAI PENUNJANG PENGETAHUAN TENTANG ILMU DASAR ASTRONOMI

Abstrak— Di era modern ini, pemanfaatan teknologi tentunya semakin canggih khususnya dalam penyampaian suatu informasi. Dalam penelitian ini, teknologi digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran berupa video animasi 3D untuk meningkatkan minat siswa dalam melestarikan kebudayaan lokal. Hal ini dikarenakan semakin rendahnya minat serta pemahaman siswa terkait mata pelajaran geografi khususnya tentang ilmu Astronomi pada SMPN 1 Labuhanhaji. Salah satu faktor yang mempengaruhi rendahnya minat dan pemahaman siswa yakni dikarenakan tidak adanya pembaruan dalam metode ajar guru kepada siswa sehingga metode ajar konvensional yang selama ini diajarkan menjadi kurang relevan dengan perkembangan jaman saat ini. Dari permasalahan tersebut penulis melakukan penelitian tentang Media Pembelajaran Berbentuk Infografis Sebagai Penunjang Ilmu Dasar Astronommi pada SMPN 1 Labuhanhaji yang diharapkan mampu memberikan pembaruan pada metode ajar siswa sehingga meningkatkan ketertarikan serta pemahaman siswa terkait Ilmu Dasar Astronomi. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif. Pembuatan video Animasi 3D sepenuhnya menggunakan Software Blender. Dari hasil evaluasi dan wawancara yang dilakukan terhadap 27 Siswa SMPN 1 Labuhanhaji, didapatkan hasil 89% siswa tertarik dan 85% siswa paham dengan ilmu Dasar Astronomi menggunakan Media Pembelajaran Infografis Ilmu Dasar Astronomi.
