Abstract

ABSTRAK

Kepolisian Resort Kota atau Polresta merupakan suatu Instansi Pemerintahan yang bertugas untuk melindungi mengayomi dan melayani masyarakat serta Penegakan Hukum. Polresta Banda Aceh memiliki tugas dan kewajiban untuk mengungkap kasus kriminal yang terjadi di wilayah Kota Banda Aceh. Di Polresta Banda Aceh juga terdapat bagian Satuan Reserse Kriminal yang bertugas untuk pengungkapan kasus Kriminal di Kota Banda Aceh. Dikarenakan pelaku kejahatan tindak pidana terus meningkat, maka Satuan Reserse Kriminal Polresta Banda Aceh memerlukan suatu aplikasi sistem informasi yang terkomputerisasi yang bisa digunakan untuk pengolahan data Informasi Daftar Pencarian Orang (DPO) yang terjadi di wilayah Hukum kerjanya. Selama ini pengolahan data yang berhubungan dengan Informasi Daftar Pencarian Orang (DPO) masih menggunakan cara manual, yaitu data masih dalam bentuk laporan yang berbentuk file dan dokumentasi yang tersimpan dalam arsip. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut, maka di Polresta Banda Aceh dibangun suatu sistem informasi daftar pencarian orang (DPO) terintegrasi pada satuan Reserse Kriminal (Reskrim) Polresta Banda Aceh berbasis web. Aplikasi dibuat dengan menggunakan bahasa pemrograman PHP dengan MySQL sebagai variabel databasenya. Perancangan sistem ini dibuat sesuai dengan Flowchart, Use Case dan ERD (Entity Relation Diagram). Dengan adanya aplikasi sistem informasi ini nantinya diharapkan akan dapat mempermudah dalam mengakses semua daftar informasi yang berhubungan dengan informasi biodata Daftar Pencarian Orang (DPO) yang terjadi di wilayah Kota Banda Aceh.
