Abstract

Rumah makan saat ini menjadi sebuah jenis wisata yang sangat banyak dampaknya bagi
perkembangan sebuah daerah. Banda Aceh saat ini sebagai salah satu daerah yang banyak
kedatangan wisatawan lokal atau asing juga memiliki wisata kuliner yang tidak kalah nikmat dan
beragam dengan daerah-daerah lain, rumah makan di Banda Aceh saat ini berjumlah 179 rumah
makan yang tersebar di berbagai kecamatan. Selain rumah makan yang menawarkan masakan
khas Aceh seperti gulai pliek’u, keumamah, kuah masam keu-eung, bue si itek dan lain
sebagainya, banyak juga rumah makan yang menawarkan masakan khas dari luar daerah Aceh.
Dari banyak nya wisatawan lokal dan asing yang berkunjung ke Banda Aceh yang inggin
mencari rumah makan khas aceh, seringkali mendapatkan info yang kurang akurat tentang
penjelasan atau petunjuk letak suatu lokasi rumah makan yang khusus menyediakan masakan
khas aceh, keterangan yang di dapatkan terkadang terbatas pada nama jalan, arah atau ciri-ciri
kawasannya
