Abstract

Universitas UIN Ar-Raniry merupakan salah satu perguruan tinggi di Provinsi Aceh. UIN Ar-Raniry terkenal dengan program studi keislaman dan ilmu-ilmu social lainnya serta konstribusinya dalam pendidikan dan penelitian diaceh dan Indonesia. Universitas UIN Ar-Raniry memiliki 9 fakultas, salah satunya fakultas tarbiyah dan keguruan, dimana fakultas ini mempunyai 2 gedung yang memiliki 3 lantai, salah satunya gedung B yang memiliki banyak ruang kuliah dan menyediakan fasilitas yang berbeda-beda, hal ini menjadi masalah bagi mahasiswa baru dalam mengenal ruang yang akan digunakan dalam pembelajaran terutama apabila tidak mempunyai akses bantuan. Oleh karena itu dibuatlah perancangan UI/UX desain aplikasi mapping ruang kuliah untuk mahasiswa baru menjadi salah satu solusi yang tepat guna membantu mahasiswa baru dalam mencari ruang kuliah. Perancangan desain aplikasi mapping ini menggunakan metode design thinking pendekatan kualitatif dilakukan dengan lima tahap yaitu : Emphatize, Define, Ideate, Prototype, dan test. Penerapan metode Desain Thinking dalam perancangan UI/UX desain aplikasi Mapping ini untuk meningkatkan kepuasan para User. Hasil pengujian menggunakan metode System Usability Scale (SUS) menunjukkan penggunaan perancangan desain aplikasi mapping mencapai skor akhir 80,5 dan mendapatkan klasifikasi B pada skala penialaian.
